    • This invention relates to ethylenically unsaturated macromers which contain reactive unsaturation, and to a process for preparing these ethylenicallly unsaturated macromers which contain reactive unsaturation. The process of preparing these ethylenically unsaturated macromers comprises reacting a monofunctional compound which corresponds to a specific formula with at least one alkylene oxide, in the presence of at least one alkoxylation catalyst. The ethylenically unsaturated macromers correspond to the formula set forth herein. This invention also relates to preformed stabilizers comprising ethylenically unsaturated macromers, to a process for preparing these preformed stabilizers, to polymer polyols comprising these preformed stabilizers, and to a process of preparing these polymer polyols which comprise these preformed stabilizers. Polymer polyols comprising ethylenically unsaturated macromers and a process for their preparation are also described.

    • The present invention relates to novel polyether polyols containing pendant amine group and to a process for their preparation. These polyether polyols have molecular weights of from about 105 to about 35,000, and contain at least one terminal hydroxyl group and at least one pendant amine group. The process for their preparation comprises reacting a compound containing from 1 to 10 hydroxyl groups and a molecular weight of about 32 to about 15,000 with at least one epoxide which contains one or more halogen atoms, in the presence of one or more DMC catalysts, to form an intermediate polyether polyol which contains halogenated carbon atoms; then reacting this intermediate polyether polyol with an amine group containing compound having from 1 to 3 primary, secondary and/or tertiary amine groups.

    • This invention relates to hybrid polymer polyols. These hybrid polymer polyols comprise the free-radical polymerization product of (A) a base polyol comprising (1) a polymer modified polyol selected from (a) dispersions of polyureas and/or polyhydrazodicarbonamides in a hydroxyl group containing compound and (b) polyisocyanate polyaddition polyols, and (2) optionally, a polyol having a functionality of 2 to 6 and an OH number of from 20 to 500; (B) optionally, a preformed stabilizer; and (C) one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers, in the presence of (D) a free-radical polymerization initiator, and (E) optionally, a polymer control agent. The present invention also relates to a process for the preparation of these hybrid polymer polyols, foams prepared from these hybrid polymer polyols and to a process for the preparation of these foams.
