摘要： A mobile multimedia content aggregation and dissemination platform is provided that aims to automate the creation, collection, correlation, aggregation, and dissemination of RSS, ATOM or other syndicated-style data formats along with non-syndicated content for blogs and for searching by interested parties. Then non-syndicated content may be substantially any type of multimedia content that has not yet been edited or that has been edited. The system and method may receive data content that originated from a syndicated information source along with other data content that originated from a non-syndicated information source. The system and method convert both types of content into, at least, blog information and blog data. The blog information comprising, information that points to a storage location of the blog data. The exemplary method further enables a user to search the blog data regardless of whether the blog data originated from a syndicated data source or non-syndicated data source.

摘要： An electrochemical process for selectively stripping at least one coating from the surface of a substrate is disclosed. The substrate (often a turbine engine component) is immersed in a composition through which electrical current flows. The composition includes a halide salt, such as sodium chloride, ammonium chloride, and potassium chloride. In preferred embodiments, the electrical current is direct current (DC). The process is especially useful for selectively removing portions of diffusion aluminide coatings. For example, the additive layer can efficiently be removed, without substantially affecting the underlying diffusion layer or substrate. Related stripping compositions and apparatuses are also described.

摘要： Non-circular holes are formed by electrochemical machining with an electrode that includes a hollow shank having a circular cross-section and a hollow tip section having a non-circular cross-section disposed on one end of the shank. The tip section is very small in length relative to the shank such that the shank comprises a large majority of the electrode's overall length. Because the majority of the electrode is circular in cross-section, it is relatively easy to straighten the electrode prior to a machining operation and to keep it straight during the operation, thereby overcoming problems experienced with full-length, non-circular electrodes. The circular shank also avoids electrolyte pressure imbalances and eases the difficulty and high cost of manufacturing electrodes capable of forming non-circular holes.

A resistor is positioned between the power supply and at least one of the electrodes to vary the voltage passing through the electrode to vary the amount of material removed within that respective hole.

One example method includes passing a fluid at high pressure across a surface of an titanium aluminide alloy-containing article, for example, a turbine blade, at high linear speed and deforming the surface of the titanium aluminide alloy-containing article, and removing material from the surface of the titanium aluminide alloy-containing article. Though aspects of the invention can be used in fabricating high performance turbine blades, the methods disclosed can be applied to the treatment of any titanium-containing article for which it is difficult to obtain an improved surface finish.
