    • A method of a first wireless communication device adapted to perform device-to-device communication with a third device is disclosed, wherein a second device causes interference to the device-to-device communication. The method comprises receiving the interference management request message related to the interference criterion from the first wireless communication device, and transmitting an interference control message to at least one of the first wireless communication device, the second wireless communication device, and the third wireless communication device.     • A method is disclosed of scheduling up-link transmissions for a number of terminals of a wireless communication system into a number of groups, wherein each group comprises terminals intended for simultaneous up-link transmission during a respective period of time. A subset metric may be calculated for each of a number of subsets of terminals based on transmissions received from the terminals of the subset. The subset metric is indicative of a simultaneous transmission suitability measure for the terminals of the subset. The subsets may be processed in subset metric order, starting with the subset having a subset metric indicating a least suitability of simultaneous transmission. During the processing, each terminal of the subset that is not already scheduled in a group may be scheduled in a group that does not already comprise another terminal of the subset. Information indicative of the period of time during which a scheduled terminal is intended to transmit may be transmitted to each of the scheduled terminals. Corresponding computer program product, scheduler and arrangement are also disclosed.

    • A method of operating a terminal of a wireless communication network is disclosed, wherein the terminal operates according to a discontinuous reception mode. The wireless communication network comprises one or more wireless network nodes having at least first and second downlink transmission modes, the first downlink transmission mode comprising normal operation of a particular network node and the second downlink transmission mode comprising restricted downlink transmission of the particular network node and being applicable when the number of active terminals in the cell associated with the particular network node is less than or equal to a second mode threshold value. The method comprises detecting a cell identity for a cell associated with a wireless network node of the wireless communication system, determining a current downlink transmission mode of the wireless network node as the first or second downlink transmission mode, and adapting a time pattern based on the determined current downlink transmission mode, wherein the time pattern specifies when a receiver of the terminal is turned on.     • A method of estimation of harmonic distortion level for a radio receiver operative in a cellular communication system enabled to receive signals from transmitters of one or more cells is disclosed. The method comprises measuring, within a bandwidth of operation, a total received signal power; measuring, within the bandwidth of operation, a received signal power of signals received from the one or more cells, respectively; and estimating a level of harmonic receiver distortions by: determining whether a fraction of the total received signal power and a theoretical noise floor is below or above a first threshold; or determining whether a remaining part of the total received signal power, said remaining part not including said fraction, is above or below a second threshold.     • A radio network controller is operable in both a unicast signaling mode and a bi-cast signaling mode. In unicast signaling mode, the radio network controller is operable to send radio resource control signals to a mobile station through a serving cell. The radio network controller is operable to go into bi-cast signaling mode during a hard handover. In the bi-cast signaling mode, the radio network controller is operable to send radio resource control messages to the mobile station through both the current serving cell and a target cell. The mobile station is configured to listen to both the current serving cell and the target cell for radio resource control messages. User data, however, is transmitted only from the current serving cell to the mobile station.
