摘要： There is provided an air intake duct capable of fully achieving intake-air noise attenuation effect. The air intake duct has a duct wall section formed of resin in form of tube and configured to introduce external air into an internal combustion engine or alternate power supply system. The duct wall section is provided with a silencing member formed of a lamination of a surface layer formed of a non-woven fabric to which thermosetting resin is impregnated and a ventilation adjusting layer formed of an extendable paper material having a surface in which a plurality of concave and convex portions are formed, and the silencing member includes at least one pair of the surface layers on front and back surfaces of at least one pair of the ventilation adjusting layers, and an intermediate layer is formed between the paired ventilation adjusting layers, the intermediate layer being formed of a same material as that of the surface layer.

摘要： An olefin thermoplastic elastomer composition which is superior in the resistance to oils, heat resistance, formability and flexibility is provided, said elestomer composition comprising the components(A) 40–90 parts by weight of a polypropylene resin having a melt flow rate (determined at 230 ° C. under a load of 2.16 kg according to ASTM D 1238) of 0.1–5 g/10 minutes,(B) 10–60 parts by weight of a copolymer rubber based on olefin, the contents of the components (A) and (B) summing up to 100 parts by weight, and(C) 20–150 parts by weight of a softener,wherein the composition is in such a cross-linked state that the gel content thereof amounts to 97% by weight or higher.

In addition, a spring member 29 is fitted between the valve body 25 and a spring receiving portion 27 provided for the holder 15. By the engagement of the claw portion for the valve body 25e with the engagement portion for the valve body 27e, the valve body 25 is assembled with the holder 15.

摘要： A foamed pad material for low-pressure compression molding which comprises a crosslinked rubbery olefinic soft resin foam and exhibits (a) a hysteresis loss of not greater than 40%, (b) a gel fraction of 20 to 98%, and (c) a density of 0.025 to 0.30 g/cm.sup.3. This foamed pad material is excellent in heat weldability with core forming materials and exhibits excellent heat resistance, strain resistance, moldability and restoring properties at the time of low-pressure compression molding at which compression and drawing are carried out at high temperatures. Moreover, the foamed pad material can allow the molded skin material to have cushioning properties with high flexibility and further to have improved feeling.

摘要： A steering wheel for motor vehicles which is composed of a steering wheel base covered with a skin material of: (I) 10-50 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin (A); and (II) 90-50 parts by weight of a block copolymer (B) including a polymer block (a) of styrene or a derivative thereof and an isoprene polymer block or an isoprene-butadiene copolymer block (b), the polymer or copolymer block containing 40% or higher of isoprene units bonded at 3,4- position relative to the total isoprene units and 97% or more of the double bonds having been hydrogenated, (the total amount of the components (A) and (B) is 100 parts by weight). The skin material for the steering wheel is a soft, injection-moldable thermoplastic olefin elastomer composition having a low specific gravity and good wear resistance, which is capable of recycling and gives excellent feel of touch.

摘要： A PIN photodiode is composed of a lower electrode deposited on a substrate, a photoelectric transducer of PIN construction deposited on the lower electrode, and an upper electrode deposited on the photoelectric transducer. A method of fabricating the PIN photodiode is also disclosed. All of electron-and-hole pairs generated in the photoelectric transducer in response to application of light are biased by the lower and upper electrodes. These electron-and-hole pairs are quickly picked up as a current between the electrodes for detecting the light falling on the PIN photodiode.
