    • In a liquid crystal display device comprising a pair of linear light source arranged at respective side surface of a light guide plate opposite to one another and having brightness irregularity along longitudinal axes thereof, the present invention arranges the linear light sources to dispose respective ends thereof towards which the brightness thereof is decreased gradually diagonally over a main surface of the light guide plate, and provide two-dimensional optical reflection or diffusion pattern density of which is varied in accordance with the brightness irregularity thereof on at least one surface of the light guide plate, an optical diffusion sheet, or an optical reflection plate. The brightness irregularity appearing in a display screen of the liquid crystal display device due to the brightness irregularity of the linear light source is eliminated by the present invention.

    • A mobile communication system implementing a frequency sharing and a time slot sharing using communication signal including a plurality of TDMA signals and/or the time divided CDMA signals, to supply the mobile communication system with an improved overall communication quality. The system includes the communication signal from a plurality of multiple access method for sharing frequency and time. A TDMA signal identified by synchronization word code has a different synchronization word code from each other, which is assigned to the same frequency and time slot. A time divided CDMA signal is frequency spreaded by spreading codes which is assigned to time divided time slot. The system also includes the stations which regenerate the time divided CDMA shared signal from the received communication signal and after a removal of the shared signal from the communication signal the TDMA signal synchronization word code is regenerated as desired signal.

    • An apparatus for use with an automotive vehicle supported on traction and follower road wheels to control the braking forces applied to the respective road wheels. A target vehicle deceleration is calculated based on a driver's force exerted to apply braking to the vehicle. Target braking forces required for the respective road wheels are calculated in a manner to achieve the target vehicle deceleration based on loads to be shared by the respective road wheels. Target brake torque for the respective road wheels are calculated based on the calculated target braking forces. Drive torque for the respective road wheels are calculated. The drive torque calculated for the respective traction road wheels are used to correct the corresponding target brake torque calculated for the respective traction road wheels so as to calculate target traction road wheel brake torque. The braking forces applied to the respective road wheels are controlled in a manner to achieve the target brake torque calculated for the respective follower road wheels and also to achieve the target traction road wheel brake torque calculated for the respective traction road wheels.
