    • The present invention relates to a burglarproof lock, comprising a cylinder case, a cylinder lock-core and a key, wherein said cylinder case is a hollow cylinder with cylinder cavity, said cylinder cavity having one end being formed to tightly wrap the periphery of cylinder lock-core, and the opposite distal end being closed plane as top cover, a keyhole is formed at the off-center position on the top cover, and a shift slot is formed in connection with said keyhole in manner of extending towards center of said top cover, and the position of said key-socket and that of keyhole on said top cover of said cylinder case is arranged out of alignment. As put said blade-plug of said key into said keyhole, said thin-shank should be guided into said shift slot and moved transversely along it towards said key-socket until said blade-plug being in alignment with said key-socket on the cylinder lock-core. Then, said blade-plug can be inserted into said key-socket in order to attain the goal of opening the lock. Thus, it has special effect in burglarproof.

    • A Key with a blade portion which is bitted for actuating the tumbler pins of a cylinder lock has improved cross-sectional strength despite deep cut bittings which extend well into the thickness of the blade. The key is generally flat with upper and lower surfaces and opposite short side edges. The bittings are cut across at least one of the surfaces so as to extend arcuately through the thickness of the blade and one of the side edges. The volume of key blank material which is adjacent the deep cut bittings after the key is cut is substantially more than conventional keys and provides the key blade with increased strength to prevent breakage. The bittings are cut into the key blade by a rotary cutter wheel which is dimensioned to form an arcuate bitting surface rather than a flat surface. A cylinder lock includes a rotatable plug having a tenon with a plurality of corner portions, and a keyway passing through the plug and tenon is configured to permit all of the tenon corners to remain intact, thereby providing secure seating of a tailcam on the tenon.

    • An auto-directing lever lock includes a case housing a cylinder (4) with a plug (3) mounted for movement therein. The plug includes a keyway (14) for accepting a key bit (7). A keyway opening (15) on the surface of the plug provides access for lever tumblers (6) to engage lever steps on the key bit. The key bit is detachable from a bow and shank section (8), and inserted in to the keyway through a key hole (39) in the case. The tumblers ride on a surface of the plug and are held away from the lever steps of the key bit during rotation of the plug, until the tumblers disengage the plug surface due to the keyway opening therein. The tumblers, when disengaged from the plug surface, fall onto the lever steps of the key bit to align gatings (32) of the tumblers so a bolt stump (28) may pass therethrough to retract a bolt (5) of the lock.
