摘要： Luminescent concrete compositions containing cement, fine aggregates such as sand, and a phosphor such as strontium aluminate. Glow-in-the-dark concrete products made therefrom and methods of producing such concrete products are also specified. The glow-in-the-dark concrete products demonstrate good mechanical strength (e.g. compressive strength) and skid resistance. The addition of phosphorescent strontium aluminate provides luminance that persists for up to 10 hours to the concrete products.

A modification method comprises steps of: dipping a calcium silicate board in a silicon dioxide solution with a solid content of 95% or more, completely absorbing the silicon dioxide solution until the calcium silicate board is saturated, and drying the dipped calcium silicate board; and carrying out sizing hardening on any surface of the modified calcium silicate board to obtain the calcium silicate board, so as to enable the triamine impregnated paper to be directly laminated with the calcium silicate board in a hot-pressing manner, and enable the surface bonding strength to reach 1 MPa; wood veneers, fireproof plates and other materials are subjected to coldbonding, the peeling strength of the product meets the requirements, and the practicability of the calcium silicate board is effectively improved.

摘要： A method of both hardening and polishing a concrete surface includes the steps of first applying to the concrete surface a hardening/densifying silicate compound, allowing the compound to remain in contact with the surface for a period of time sufficient to allow it to soak into the surface of the concrete, cleaning the surface and allowing it to dry, and polishing the surface with a diluted silicate polishing compound. The polishing step includes the steps of applying to the concrete surface a diluted silicate polishing compound, mechanically polishing the concrete surface with a rotary polishing machine, using pads or disks or drums, cleaning the concrete surface, and repeating said steps with polishing pads or disks of increasingly finer grit until the surface obtains an aesthetically desirable level of shine.

The containers are readily and economically formed from mixtures of hydraulically settable binders such as hydraulic cement, gypsum and clay with water. Appropriate additives can also be added to the mixture which impart desired characteristics and properties to both the mixture and the hardened containers. The mixtures can be utilized to form containers by various methods. One method involves forming the containers without substantial mixing of the mixture, compacting the mixture and hydrating the mixture. Other methods involve molding the mixture, extruding the mixture and forming sheets from the mixture to be converted into containers. The components may also be dried, coated, lined, laminated and/or receive printing.
