The bottles feature a layer comprised of oxygen scavenger copolyester and may be used for bottling beer and other products requiring nearly total absence of oxygen for the duration of the target product shelf life.

摘要： The present invention relates to a container (10) containing a liquid product. The container enables the venting of the liquid product by a venting means. The venting means allows the passage of gases between the interior and the exterior of the container when the pressure inside the container differs from the ambient pressure. The venting means is permeable to gases, but impermeable to the liquid product. The liquid product comprises particulate solids selected from the group consisting of carbonate, percarbonate, perborate and mixtures thereof. The size of the particulate solids is not greater than 400 &mgr;m.

摘要： A biodegradable, compostable, liquid-impermeable lined paper bag for containing wet wastes. All adhesives used in the process are cold glues applied without using heat, through an extrusion and/or metering application means. Cellulose film is used for the paper liner and dot matrix configuration of adhesive is applied between the cellulose and paper layers for lamination. The matrix-defined size of spacings between the points of application of adhesive on the cellulose film are preselected to permit passage of water vapour and oxygen through the cellulose-laminated paper and reduce stress points on the cellulose film. A second cold glue is applied to the bag bottom section by a matrix of extrusion adhesive guns via a programmable controller to predetermined areas of the bag bottom section.

摘要： A multi-layer preform, includes: (a) a plastic inner liner, comprised of a cylindrical walled body, which may or may not include a tapered annular shoulder portion, and a cylindrical walled neck portion extending upwardly from the body, and (b) a molded outer layer. Prior to the outer layer being molded over the plastic inner liner, at least a portion of the liner is crystallized by a heat treatment process. The molded outer layer may include a means to receive a closure device. When the preform is at an acceptable temperature range for orientation, the multi-layer preform can be blow-molded to form a multi-layer container having improved properties.
