摘要： A kneading apparatus for a thermoplastic resin, includes: a plasticizing cylinder which has a high pressure kneading zone and a pressure reduction zone; a screw in the plasticizing cylinder; a downstream side seal mechanism which shuts off communication between the high pressure kneading zone and the pressure reduction zone; and a pressure reduction zone pressure adjusting mechanism which is connected to the pressure reduction zone and which controls a pressure of the pressure reduction zone so that the pressure is not less than an atmospheric pressure and the pressure is not more than a maximum pressure of the high pressure kneading zone that is achieved when kneading a molten resin with a pressurized fluid, when the downstream side seal mechanism shuts off the communication between the high pressure kneading zone and the pressure reduction zone.

摘要： The present invention provides a connecting device for connecting an unhardened fiber layer which is arranged on a surface section of a fiber compound structure to the fiber compound structure. The connecting device comprises pressure cushion comprising a pressure cap for being arranged above the surface section and a pressure tight cap mat which is pressure tightly connected to a circumferential border of the pressure cap, thereby forming a pressure area which is limited by the pressure cap and by the cap mat. The connecting device further comprises a pressure inducing means for inducing an overpressure which presses the cap mat against the fiber layer into the pressure area. According to a further aspect the invention provides a processing method for processing a fiber compound structure. In a first step at least one unhardened fiber layer is arranged on a surface section of the fiber compound structure.

摘要： Disclosed are methods and apparatus for improving heat transfer of recirculating fluids within a system by introducing a ferrofluid in which iron oxide nanoparticles are suspended in a carrier fluid that is, in turn, added to a working fluid for increasing the heat capacity of the working fluid. The ferrofluid suspension can be prepared ex-situ and metered into the working fluid from a separate reservoir or may be prepared in-situ as needed through the use of an inline reactor. The ferrofluid can be introduced with other water treatment additives which are compatible with the colloidal suspension and monitored directly and/or indirectly for controlling the heat capacity performance of the system.
