    • Variable displacement compressor comprising a housing; piston; and drive shaft rotatably supported by the housing; a rotor rotating in unison with the drive shaft; a swash plate that rotates in synchronism with the rotation of the connected rotor.     • A high pressure pump includes a pump body, a pressurizing chamber, a fuel passage, a union, a seat member, a relief valve seat, a relief valve, a discharge valve seat, a discharge valve, a spring and a spring holder. The union has an inner threaded portion and a step portion formed on an inner wall of the union. The seat member includes a relief passage that extends through the seat member in an axial direction of the seat member and a discharge path that is not in fluid communication with the relief passage. The one opening of the relief passage is closer to the pressurizing chamber than an other opening of the relief passage is to the pressurizing chamber. The one opening of the discharge path is further from the pressurizing chamber than an other opening of the discharge path is from the pressurizing chamber. The seat member is pressed toward the step portion when the spring holder is fastened to the union by engaging the inner threaded portion with the outer threaded portion.

    • Pump assemblies for use with a subsurface fluid reservoir include an upper portion connected to a fluid conduit extending to the surface, a lower portion connected to the upper portion and in fluid communication with a fluid reservoir of the wellbore, and a plunger assembly movably located within the upper and lower portion of the pump assembly. As the fluid pressure within the tubing string, fluidly isolated from the fluid conduit, increases, fluid is forced into the pump assembly moving the plunger assembly upwell to draw fluid into the pump and forces fluid into the fluid conduit. As the fluid pressure within the tubing string decreases, movement of the plunger assembly forces fluid from the lower portion into the upper portion through a fluid passageway extending through the plunger assembly.

    • A wellbore liquid lift pump includes a pump chamber disposed in a wellbore at a selected longitudinal position and within a liquid column therein. The pump chamber has one way valves proximate each longitudinal end thereof. One of the one way valves is in fluid communication with the liquid column. The other one way valve is in fluid communication with a conduit extending from the pump chamber to the surface. The pump includes means for displacing a volume of the pump chamber by application of pressure thereto. The pressure provided by at least one of a gas and a liquid having a density lower than liquid within the liquid column.

    • The present invention is directed to a multiport metering pump that can completely deliver a very small volume of liquid. The multiport metering pump includes a number of ports (or valve units), each of which can be used as either an outlet valve or an inlet valve. The multiport metering pump includes: a central gallery; a displacement unit; multiple valve units; and multiple conduits that respectively connect the displacement unit and the valve units to the central gallery. The displacement unit and the valve units communicate with the central gallery, and any of the valve units can be used as an inlet valve or outlet valve for the liquid delivery.
