The real object then communicates a query to the server based on the data access request and obtains process control data from the server in response to the query. The process control data is then mapped from a first data layout associated with a server schema to a second data layout associated with a client schema. The mapped process control data is then communicated to an application.

摘要： A digital odor generator includes a housing and a cylindrically shaped odor chamber carried by the housing and including a plurality of separate odor compartments isolated from each other. A porous hollow cylinder, made of plastic or some other porous material, with an odorant therein is located in each of the odor compartments. A nozzle in the form of a truncated cone is operatively connected to the odor chamber. The nozzle includes an outer face having an enlarged central opening and a plurality of smaller openings surrounding the central opening; the number of smaller openings being equal to the number of odor compartments. The outer face of the nozzle is arranged so that a person can position his or her nose near the openings. Each of the smaller openings is associated with a different one of the odor compartments and is isolated from the others and from the central opening so that the odor from only one odor compartment can be emitted through only one of the smaller openings. A fan within the housing is adapted to pass fresh air through the central opening. And an air pressure source selectively forces one or more of the odorants through their respective odor compartments and out of the nozzle.

摘要： A semiconductor structure formed on a growth substrate and including a light emitting layer disposed between an n-type region and a p-type region is attached to a carrier by a connection that supports the semiconductor structure sufficiently to permit removal of the growth substrate. In some embodiments, the semiconductor structure is a flip chip device. The semiconductor structure may be attached to the carrier by, for example, a metal bond that supports almost the entire lateral extent of the semiconductor structure, or by interconnects such as solder or gold stud bumps. An underfill material which supports the semiconductor structure is introduced in any spaces between the interconnects. The underfill material may be a liquid that is cured to form a rigid structure. The growth substrate may then be removed without causing damage to the semiconductor structure.

In particular, the graphic elements and graphic displays may be created and stored in a library, and may then be configured by being associated with various logical or physical entities within the plant. During the configuration process, the graphic elements and graphic displays may be associated with areas, equipment, process modules, control routines or control strategies of the plant as defined elsewhere in the plant configuration, or may be associated with interfaces or display devices, to define the hardware on which the graphic displays will execute during runtime, as well at to define the process entities to which these displays will be bound for display purposes. Still further, each of the graphic displays may be defined with a role or a functional use, such as an operator view, a maintenance view, etc., and these roles may be used to define the proper access and use of the graphic displays within the runtime environment.

Processes for efficiently isolating and obtaining these TiO2 compounds, as well as methods for using them have been developed. These TiO2 compounds may be used directly in applications such as paper, plastics and paints without being subjected to the chloride or sulfate processes. Also they made be used as a feedstock for the chloride or sulfate processes. In order to obtain these TiO2 compounds, one may grind or pulverize the naturally occurring ore, disperse it in a solution or suspension, and process it by selective flocculation or aqueous biphasic extraction.
