    • A bale transfer system for transferring bales from a baler mechanism to a support vehicle including a baler mechanism a bale tipper mechanism and a bale receiving station for receiving bales ejected from the baler mechanism. Each bale when ejected has a height dimension and a width dimension. A tipper mechanism is mounted at the bale receiving station and is operable to reposition a bale 90.degree. so that its height dimension becomes its width dimension. A bale loading means is provided for loading the repositioned bales into a transport vehicle. The tipper is comprised of a rotatable bale tipping wing having a bale support surface and a rotatable bale support wing having a bale support surface. The bale tipper mechanism further includes a power means for activating the tipping and support wings to thereby reposition a bale 90.degree. as it is moved from the tipping wing support surface to the support wing support surface.

    • A baler machine including a charging chamber for receiving materials to be baled. The charging chamber has a charging passageway communicating with a baling compression chamber. A compression ram is operable to force material from the charging chamber into the compression chamber to thereby form a bale. The compression chamber has an exit passageway through which the baled material is forced by an ejector ram. A bale release mechanism is mounted adjacent the exit passageway. The bale release mechanism includes a rotatably mounted gate member movable between a normal operating position and a retracted open position wherein the size of the exit passageway is increased to allow the passage of an oversized bale. A power cylinder is operatively connected to the bale release mechanism to move the mechanism between its closed and retracted positions.

    • The present invention relates to advertising in stores through the use of video displays that can present customized advertisements when a customer is recognized as being in proximity to the video display. Video displays can be used in stores to display customizable advertisements of a particular vendor. These advertisements can be selectively modified, personalized, and/or customized for a particular customer when that customer is recognized as being in proximity to the video display. This recognition can use the customer's mobile communication device, such as a cell phone, which can be recognized by the system as being in proximity to the video display. This recognition can also read information from a user's identification card, such as a loyalty card, in proximity to the video display. Customized content can be moved from one display to another as the customer moves through a store.

    • A method of preventing current hogging in parallel connected transformers, and an apparatus for efficiently implementing the method are presented. Current hogging occurs when synchronous power converter transformers operate in a low output current mode. Low output current demands are typically meet by adjusting the duty cycle of the transformer to a low level. This results in the catch FET maintaining a low resistance path to ground for long time periods and allows a stronger one of the parallel power converter transformers to sink current to ground through a weaker transformer. The method consists of using a current sensor to detect low or negative output currents, and then driving the transistor providing the path to ground to an off state. A preferred embodiment of an apparatus to prevent current hogging includes a current sense inductor placed in series with the primary side of the power converter connected to an operational amplifier having an input reference voltage selected to provide an output when the current sense inductor records less than a certain positive voltage. The op amp turns on a driver to force off a transistor which normally conducts to ground when the duty cycle is in an off state.
