摘要： The light-radiating semiconductor component has a radiation-emitting semiconductor body and a luminescence conversion element. The semiconductor body emits radiation in the ultraviolet, blue and/or green spectral region and the luminescence conversion element converts a portion of the radiation into radiation of a longer wavelength. This makes it possible to produce light-emitting diodes which radiate polychromatic light, in particular white light, with only a single light-emitting semiconductor body. A particularly preferred luminescence conversion dye is YAG:Ce.

摘要： A ventilated brake disc for rail vehicles of a divided or undivided design is provided. The brake disc comprises a brake ring with ribs connected to the hub. Projections for fastening the brake ring to the hub are connected to selected ribs having recesses. In another design the brake ring, within its neutral range, is provided with projections arranged opposite one another at a dividing groove, each projection having a respective tangential bore for receiving a screw for fastening the sections of the divided brake ring, whereby a portion of the ribs in the area of the projections extends radially inwardly and radially outwardly from the projections. In another design first projections have respective first tangential bores aligned with one another for receiving a first screw are positioned opposite one another at a dividing groove of the brake ring in the vicinity of its inner circumference. Second projections have second tangential bores aligned with one another for receiving a second screw and are positioned opposite one another at the dividing groove of the brake ring in the vicinity of its outer circumference, whereby a portion of the ribs in the area of the first and second projections extends in a radial direction between the first and second projection to a maximum possible length. With these designs an improvement of the cooling air flow is achieved due to the generation of a transverse flow.

The components are connected to one another by the dog extending into the groove. The dog has outer contact surfaces resting at mating inner side walls of the groove. At least one of the outer contact surfaces and a corresponding one of the mating inner side walls are slanted relative to an axial direction of the brake disc. The brake disc further comprises screws extending parallel to the axial direction for pressing the outer contact surfaces against the mating inner side walls.

摘要： A kitchen appliance, having an interchangeable tool attachment, such as a stirrer arm, and an interchangeable container attachment, such as a food chopper. The tool attachment has a base which is secured to the appliance through rotation of a rotatable tension ring assembly, surrounding a power takeoff shaft and a retainer ring, and includes a housing pivotally connected to the base. The container attachment is secured through recesses in its base which engage pins on the retainer ring. A locking bolt is provided on the container attachment which engages the cover thereof, the locking bolt being engageable in a locked position by a slide coupled to a power switch through a blocking rod whenever the power switch is actuated, such that the container attachment cover may not be removed with the appliance in an activated state. An inclined surface on the cover periphery displaces the locking bolt to the locked position when the cover is closed, where a locking finger on the cover engages an opening in the locking bolt.
