    • An electronic device includes a body, a cover, and a switching assembly. The body defines two first openings. The cover defines two second openings facing the two first openings. The switching assembly includes a locking assembly received in the body and a latching assembly received in the cover. The locking assembly includes a handle, two guiding members, and two magnetic members received in the corresponding guiding members. The handle is for impelling the guiding members to move. The latching assembly includes two latching members. Each latching member has a latching end for being attracted by one of the magnetic members. When the cover covers the body, each latching end protrudes through the corresponding second and first openings and is caught by the magnetic members. When the handle is pressed, the handle drives the two guiding members to move to impel the two magnetic members away from the corresponding latching ends.

    • A portable electronic device includes a main body, a display and a writing tablet. The display pivotally connects to a rear wall of the main body to selectively locate in a first state and a second state. In the first state, the display covers a top wall of the main body. In the second state, the display rotates away from the top wall and is arranged on a rear side of the main body. The writing tablet pivotally connects to the main body to selectively locate at a first position and a third position.     • An electronic device includes multi-touch screen and a password input system. The multi-touch screen can detect a sequence of user inputs, each of which involves tapping at least one point thereof. The password input system includes a determining unit, a storing unit, an indexing unit, and an outputting unit. The determining unit can count the numbers of touch point(s) of the user inputs. The storing unit stores a character database which includes a collection of numbers of touch point(s) and a collection of corresponding machine-readable characters. The indexing unit can look up matching machine-readable characters for the user inputs in the character database. The outputting unit can output the matching machine-readable characters sequentially as a password.
