    • A sealed container and method for manufacturing the same is disclosed in which the sealed container has a waterproof container barrel body made of paper and having opposing open ends, and a pair of closure members, one for each end, with each closure member cooperatively engageable with an end of the barrel body to form a hermetically sealed container. Each closure member includes a panel to generally cover each open end, a peripheral wall portion extending downward from the periphery of the panel and generally perpendicular thereto, a covering member is provided for covering an end surface of the container barrel body, and a reinforcing member adhered to a peripheral surface of an opening portion of the container barrel body. The peripheral wall portion of the closure member is mounted on the container barrel body and adhered thereto at a position corresponding to the adhered position of the reinforcing member.

    • A resin composition comprises (A) a polycarbonate resin, (B) a saturated polyester resin and/or polyester-based elastomer, and (C) a copolymer obtained by graft-polymerizing a given monomer in the presence of latex containing a butadiene-based rubber polymer. The graft copolymer is obtained under the following conditions (a) to (c): (a) the polymerization formulation is composed of 60 to 90% by weight of the butadiene-based rubber polymer and 10 to 40% by weight of the monomer, (b) the monomer formulation of the latex is composed of 50 to 100% by weight of butadiene and 0 to 50% by weight of vinyl-based monomers copolymerized with butadiene, and (c) the latex has a weight-average particle size from 100 to 200 nm, and the ratio dw/dn of the weight-average particle size to the number-average particle size is 1 or more and 3 or less. According to the present invention, a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in production stability and having excellent impact resistance and molded appearance is provided.

    • A doormat is formed by accumulating a large number of monofilaments in a random loop form continuously to present a mottled pattern or a striped pattern by the combination of color monofilaments of two or more colors. This manufacturing device comprises a spinning pack having a rectangular shape for spinning a large number of monofilaments, a plurality of extruders disposed at symmetrical positions in the longitudinal direction of the spinning pack, and a collecting mechanism for collecting the monofilaments spun from the spinning pack. The spinning pack is provided with a resin flowpath unit and a multihole nozzle plate which are superposed, and the resin flowpath unit is connected to the extruders by means of communicating pipe lines disposed at symmetrical positions in the longitudinal direction. Main flowpaths for directly connecting the zone flowpaths communicating with each communicating pipe line and a plurality of branch flowpaths connected with the main flowpaths in crosswise manner are combined to be provided on an almost entire surface of the resin flowpath unit. Each zone flowpath is independently formed, and the multihole nozzle plate is formed with a nozzle hole to be communicated with each branch flowpath.
