摘要： A reinforced box for containing a plurality of items to be packaged includes a bottom wall and a top wall, a pair of first side walls and a pair of second side walls. The bottom wall, the top wall and the pair of first side walls are formed from a one-piece elongate element, which extends along a longitudinal axis and is formed with transverse fold lines. The pair of second side walls consists of two separate cardboard panels, and each of the walls is formed with longitudinal creasing lines defining pairs of first and second folded side wings. The pair of second side walls is glued to the bottom wall using a respective second side wing overlapping the bottom wall to reinforce its longitudinal edges. A method of making a box with a reinforced structure is also disclosed.

摘要： During the manufacturing process the exterior surface of one or both of the sheets of plastic film which form the bags is treated with low temperature corona discharge plasma to raise the level of surface charge magnitude to at least 43 Dyne to increase the adhesion force between the bags. A recess is formed in each of the bags to further increase the adhesion. The increased adhesion causes the mouth of one bag to automatically open as the adjacent bag is removed from the rack. The recess is formed at the same time openings are created in the bags to accept the support rods of a dispensing rack. The bags can have simple edge sides or side gussets and may be provided in a package including a pouch which receives and supports the lower portions of the bags.

The third position moving the first panel so that it is substantially vertical creating an angle near 90 degrees between the first and second panel. The fourth position returning the first panel proximate to its original position. And a fifth position having a portion of the first panel extended over the second panel.

The combined shipping and expansion device is made from substantially entirely recyclable paper or board materials, whereby after complete dispensing of the slit sheet material from the shipping and expansion device, the combined shipping and expansion device can be recycled in a paper recycling facility.

摘要： A method and apparatus for securing a zipper closure to polymeric film using minimal tension on the zipper closure includes providing first and second tension control loops, an eyemark detector, and a hole punch programmed to punch a hole in the zipper closure upon detection of the eyemark. The zipper closure and the film are supplied to a sealing station at the same speed, and the hole zipper closure is aligned with the eyemark on the film, to result in sealing the strip of zipper closure to the film resulting in minimal wrinkles to the resulting bag.
