    • A vehicular headlamp equipped with a light source bulb composed of a bulb body and a bulb supporting portion for supporting the bulb body and with a reflector in which a bulb insertion hole for insertion of the bulb body of the light source bulb is formed. An annular wall is formed around the bulb insertion hole of the reflector and a bulb abutment face on which the body supporting portion is made to abut from behind is formed in the annular wall. A notch portion that is notched forwards from the bulb abutment face is formed in the annular wall. Accordingly, the heat generated within the reflector is dissipated into the external space and the possibility of heat deformation of the reflector is reduced.

    • A vehicle lighting device is provided, and includes a mount member, a semiconductor-type light source, a reflector, and screws. Mounting boss portions in which the screws are to be threaded are provided at the mount member. At the reflector, through holes into which the screws are to be inserted are provided for the mounting boss portions. A hollow axle portion, which rotatably engages with one of the mounting boss portions from the outside, is provided at an edge of one of the through holes of the reflector. As a result, this vehicle lighting device allows the reflector to be mounted on the mount member having the semiconductor-type light source mounted thereon, without the semiconductor-type light source and the reflector interfering with each other.

    • A motor vehicle headlight, in particular a foglight, has a lamp which is mounted with a reflector, together with a cover lens. The lamp has mounting means, such as an end cap, for engagement in a plane at right angles to the optical axis of the reflector. The reflector is made of injection moulded plastics, and is stripped from the mould in a direction parallel to the optical axis. The reflector comprises a base portion and at least one adjacent further portion. The further portion has a lamp hole formed through it, and an external surface of a wall of the reflector surrounding the lamp hole makes a rake angle with the direction of stripping the reflector from the mould. Between this external surface and the mounting means of the lamp itself, adapter means have surfaces for engagement by the mounting means of the lamp in a plane parallel to the optical axis.
