摘要： A self-locating light source module for an automotive lamp assembly having a reflector and housing to which the module is mounted. The light source module includes a socket and a light source holder captively retained in an aperture of the socket. The light source holder can undergo limited movement relative to the socket along a plurality of axes, including a central axis of the socket. The light source holder and central passage in the reflector having complementary tapered surfaces with the holder being biased into engagement with the passage such that the tapered surfaces and permitted relative movement of the holder allow the light source to self-locate at the desired position within the reflector.

摘要： A vehicle lighting device is provided, and includes a mount member, a semiconductor-type light source, a reflector, and screws. Mounting boss portions in which the screws are to be threaded are provided at the mount member. At the reflector, through holes into which the screws are to be inserted are provided for the mounting boss portions. A hollow axle portion, which rotatably engages with one of the mounting boss portions from the outside, is provided at an edge of one of the through holes of the reflector. As a result, this vehicle lighting device allows the reflector to be mounted on the mount member having the semiconductor-type light source mounted thereon, without the semiconductor-type light source and the reflector interfering with each other.

摘要： In a headlamp assembly, a reflector unit includes a bearing surface for supporting a lighting control circuit. The lighting control circuit is mounted to the backside of the reflector unit across a holder, and directly connected to a discharge bulb. The reflector unit further includes a mounting portion to which a lampshade unit is mounted. In the reflector unit, the backside of the mounting portion is offset from the bearing surface in both of the axial direction and the radial direction. That is, the lampshade unit and the holder are fixed to the reflector unit so as to be distanced from each other. Thus the holder is thermally disconnected from the lampshade unit, and thereby the heat transfer from the lampshade unit to the lighting control circuit is reduced.
