摘要： A ball-hinged transmission shaft with a straight shaft includes a socket, a ball, and a straight shaft. A rolling element is further coaxially provided on a straight shaft. The rolling element is a rotator with an axis of the straight shaft as a center of rotation. An upper portion of the rolling element is connected to a bearing. A mouth-shaped surface is further respectively provided at two ends of a transmission hole of a ball. The mouth-shaped surface is a curved surface matching the shape of the rolling element. The rolling element is fit and provided in the mouth-shaped surface at the two ends of the transmission hole of the ball. The ball is restricted by an inner positioning spherical surface of a socket, the straight shaft, and the rolling element at the same time.

The bearing member has a cylindrical body and a retaining portion placed in the cylindrical body, retaining a torque transmission pin provided in the shaft member, and removably provided. 摘要： A drill bit for drilling subterranean formations includes a device to provide a "universal" effect between the shank and crown for self alignment of the crown with the bore hole in the formation. The bit is suitable for downhole assemblies configured for straight drilling, directional drilling and navigational drilling. The device can be incorporated into both drag bits and roller-type "rock" bits. Preferred embodiments include a flexible sub connecting the crown to the shank portion and having reduced stiffness relative to the drill string. Alternatively, a spherical universal joint or trunnion type universal is used. Replaceable lugs increase durability and reliability of the universal. The device equalizes the loads on cutters while reducing wear, average loads, and impact loads on cutters. Bore hole diameter and chatter of the bit in the bore hole are reduced, promoting maximum efficiency and rate of penetration as wobble and precession are minimized.

摘要： The joint comprises two opposed forks which are angularly offset from each other at 60.degree. and are axially extended by nose portions which are internally spherical. These nose portions swivel on a ring through which extends with a large clearance a shaft section which carries at each end a tripod element associated with one of the forks. The ring is maintained roughly in the bisecting plane of the joint by contact or quasi-contact with the rollers of the two tripod elements. In this way it is possible to produce steering road wheel homokinetic joints which are capable of operating at angles of 50.degree. and more with no reduction in their transmitting capacity.
