摘要： A method and system enabling delivery of a sleep therapy type is provided. The method includes receiving a value of a parameter measured by physical sensors while a mammal is in contact with a first subset of the physical sensors. A second subset of the physical sensors, whose received value differs from a predetermined reference value of an environmental parameter, is determined. A physical part subset of the second subset, corresponding to a specified body part, is determined by utilizing the second subset and virtual data for identifying virtual sensors spatially distributed to map a space occupied by the mammal's body parts. In response, a therapy device positioned in sufficiently close proximity to the specified body part to effectively deliver the specified therapy type to the specified body part is determined and a control signal is generated and transmitted to the therapy device.

摘要： The invention relates to an instrument for treating biological tissue, including a housing, in which is disposed a ballistic device for generating extracorporeal shock wave-like pressure waves and a transfer element permanently placed on the biological tissue, said element coupling the pressure waves into the body of living creatures, wherein the transfer element couples non-focused, ballistically generated, shock wave-like pressure waves into the biological tissue, the waves generated by a striking member that is accelerated to a high final velocity of over 5 m/s by a pneumatic medium which is under an operating pressure in a pressure channel. A quick-acting valve releases the pneumatic medium, which is under working pressure, into the pressure channel, wherein a control circuit controls the duration of opening of the valve as a function of at least one or a combination of the following parameters: working pressure, impact frequency or pressure in the back-pressure chamber.

摘要： Medical devices with novel spark gap electrode designs, able to control manually or automatically the electrodes gap are provided. These devices are used to generate a shock wave created by the rapid expansion and collapse of a plasma bubble that is formed between two spark gap electrodes placed in a special liquid medium, when a high differential voltage (kV) is applied to the electrodes. The resulting shock wave impacts a reflector to direct the energy into the body of an animal or a human toward the desired treatment location. 摘要： Improving cell therapy and tissue regeneration in a patient suffering from a cardiovascular or a neurological disease by treating a tissue of the patient with shock waves and/or applying to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of stem cells and/or progenitor cells. Such treatment increases expression of chemoattractants, pro-angiogenic factors, and pro-survival factors. The chemoattractants can be, for example, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) or stromal cell derived factor 1 (SDF-1). For example, the treated tissue can be located in the patient's heart or in a skeletal muscle of the patient, and the shock waves can be extracorporeal shock waves (ESW) or intracorporeal shock waves. The cardiovascular disease can have an ischemic or non-ischemic etiology. For example, the cardiovascular disease can be a myocardial infarction, ischemic cardiomyopathy, or a dilatative cardiomyopathy. For example, the neurological disease can be a peripheral neuropathy or neuropathic pain.
