摘要： An occupant monitoring device images a driver in a vehicle by an imager, projects light toward a driver seat side by an illuminator, controls operation of the imager and the illuminator by a controller, monitors the driver, based on a captured image by the imager, and outputs a monitoring result. A main board on which the controller is mounted is contained in a housing, and a sub-board is held by a lid body configured to close an opening of the housing. The main board and the sub-board are electrically connected so that the imager and the illuminator mounted on the sub-board face the driver seat side. A water preventing cover covers the sub-board, the lid body, and the housing from the driver seat side, the water preventing cover having a transmitting portion configured to transmit projected light from the illuminator and reflected light from the driver.

摘要： An image forming apparatus using a photosensitive body (1) having high gamma characteristics has an exposure unit that is provided with a radiation element whose exposure value is variably set and which is capable of blinking on a pixel-by-pixel basis. An exposure controller (6) is provided with an exposure pattern determining unit (7) that determines an exposure pattern according to the image pattern, and an exposure value switching unit (8) that switches between an exposure value A1 at which the potential of the photosensitive body (1) sharply attenuates and an exposure value A2 at which the potential of the photosensitive body (1) does not substantially attenuate, on the basis of the exposure pattern determined by the exposure pattern determining unit (7). The exposure pattern determining unit (7) is provided with an image area processor (9) that exposes image pixels to an intensive beam having the exposure value A1, and a smoothing processor (10 and 11) that exposes at least white pixels which are adjacent to the image pixels and are to be smoothed to a weak beam having the exposure value A2.

摘要： A press working control method for controlling the press working operation of a press having a pressure cylinder for applying a working pressure to a workpiece, a press slide operatively connected to the pressure cylinder and carrying a movable die, a bed fixedly mounted with a fixed die, a plurality of control cylinders supporting the press slide in a level position during the press working operation, and a press control system for carrying out the press working control method. The press control system comprises a first pressure detector for detecting the operative pressure of the pressure cylinder, quick-response control valves each for regulating the height of the control cylinder, height detectors each for detecting the height of the control cylinder, second pressure detectors each for detecting the operative pressure of the control cylinder, servovalves each for detecting the operative pressure of the control cylinder, and a control unit including a computer for deciding manipulated variables for the height and operative pressure control of the control cylinders on the basis of data obtained by the detectors. The respective heights of the control cylinders are regulated individually so that the press slide is maintained in a level position during the press working operation, while the respective operative pressure of the control cylinders are regulated so that a desired working pressure is applied to the workpiece.

摘要： A printing apparatus wherein character data to be tabulated is input. Data representing the printing position of a specified digit of one piece of character data is input in a tab memory. Then, data designating a tab operation is supplied to an address converting circuit. In accordance with this data, the address converting circuit converts the addresses of the pieces of character data such that the specified digit of every piece of character data is printed at the position represented by the data stored in the tab memory.
