    • In electromagnetically actuatable valves, an adjusting sleeve is pressed into the flow bore of a core in order to adjust the spring force of a restoring spring. Because the known adjusting sleeves, for instance having two beads, have a sharp-edged embodiment in the region toward the flow bore, chips can be produced when they are pressed into the flow bore. The novel adjusting has a transitional region on its circumference, between the at least one bead and an end segment oriented toward the valve closing body; at least one rounded portion is provided between the transitional region and the adjacent bead. Thus when the adjusting sleeve is pressed into the flow bore of the core, chip formation at the adjusting sleeve and flow bore is prevented. The adjusting sleeve is particularly suitable for injection valves of fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.

    • A fuel-injection valve having a metallic perforated disc arranged on a valve-seat body downstream of a valve-seat. The perforated disc arranged on the valve-seat body is supported by a supporting disc which is provided with a passage orifice and which is thicker than the perforated disc. This effectively prevents an undesirable bending of the perforated disc and at the same time improves the fuel treatment at the spray orifices. The supporting disc is made pot-shaped and is welded, together with the perforated disc, to the valve-seat body by a continuous welding seam. The fuel-injection valve is used in fuel-injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal-combustion engines.

    • A fuel injector for fuel ignition systems of internal combustion engines includes a magnetic circuit having a core, a magnetic coil and an armature, and a movable valve needle, which has a valve-closure member that cooperates with a fixed valve seat, the valve seat being shaped on a valve-seat member and being provided with a valve-seat support in which the valve-seat member is inserted. At least one metallic component of the fuel injector, in this context, has a serrated structure on its outer circumference for producing a solid connection to a corresponding component made of plastic. The plastic components may be the connection piece, the valve-seat support, the coil shell and the connecting pipe of the valve needle. The fuel injector is particularly suitable for use in fuel-injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines having externally supplied ignition.

    • A method for manufacturing a solid housing, in particular a valve housing for an electromagnetically operable valve. The method includes providing at least three flat metal plates side by side, each having different magnetic properties directly adjacent to the others. The at least three plates are joined to the directly adjacent bordering edges to form a sheet metal section. The sheet metal section shaped into a sleeve shape.
