And in the invention, in forming a plurality of the lines on the medium, (A) the plurality of lines are formed by repeating the forming operation by ejecting ink from a first nozzle of the plurality of nozzles when the first roller is in contact with the medium, and (B) the plurality of lines are formed by repeating the forming operation by ejecting ink from a second nozzle on a downstream side from the first nozzle in the transport direction when the first roller is not in contact with the medium and the second roller is in contact with the medium.
