摘要： An object of the present disclosure is to provide an apparatus for dispensing absorbent sheet material from a roll. The apparatus includes a roll holder for rotatably supporting said roll, and a roll fill level indicator arrangement. The roll fill level indicator arrangement includes a pivoting arm and a moveable first indicator device. The pivoting arm includes roll engagement device for engagement with an outer peripheral surface of said roll. A position of said first indicator device is continuously responsive to an angular position of said pivoting arm, such that said roll fill level indicator arrangement is able to provide a gradual roll fill level indication.

The base extension is manoeuvrable into the extended position in a sliding motion akin to opening a drawer. The dispenser includes a removable face piece that has a bulging top portion, a recessed medial portion and a toe portion projecting as compared to the recessed portion. Between the bulging top portion and the projecting toe portion, the recess provides a finger receiving space for grasping a tissue in a dispensing opening and dispensing it from the dispenser.

摘要： A dispenser for flexible sheet material rolls in which a first roll is supported in a dispensing position, a second roll is supported in a reserve position and a roll transfer apparatus is operative to transfer the second roll to the dispensing position upon depletion of sheet material from the first roll with the supporting arrangement for the roll in the dispensing postion being rotatable with such roll and thereby subject to significantly reduced friction effects. The described dispenser organization also includes a novel arrangement for retaining the cores and spindles of spent rolls within the dispenser until the closure cover is opened for replenishing the dispenser with fresh rolls whereupon, by opening the cover, the spent residual roll elements are automatically deposited into the opened cover that forms a receptacle from whence the elements can be retrieved for disposal and following which the dispenser organization is automatically returned to its operative condition in a single step upon simply closing the closure cover.

A leading flap of the stack of napkins hangs through the dispensing gap while a leading fold of the stack of napkins is pressed against a bottom end of the front wall. When the leading flap is pushed back, the leading fold passes beneath a bottom edge of the front wall to be grasped by a user for dispensing napkins at least two at a time.

摘要： The present invention provides a web perforating apparatus which includes a system for detecting and indicating when a blade in the apparatus is broken, dull or otherwise not perforating the web. The apparatus is typically used with rewinders or other similar machines that produce perforated sheets of products, such as paper, using sets of stationary anvil blades and rotating perforating blades. The apparatus comprises at least one anvil including a blade holder and an anvil blade which is positioned within the blade holder. The blade holder is formed of an insulating material for electrically isolating the anvil blade from the machine frame of the rewinder. An electrical conductor is coupled to the anvil blade for supplying an electric current to the anvil blade from a current source. The apparatus also includes at least one grounded perforating blade for moving relative to the anvil blade and cooperating with the anvil blade to perforate the web at predetermined points along its length. The perforating blade will contact the anvil blade after perforating the web. A closed circuit is formed and maintained along the anvil blade at points where the blades are in contact with each other. The apparatus further includes means for detecting if a closed circuit has been formed and maintained along the anvil blade when the perforating blade moves into a position where the blades should contact each other.

摘要： A dispenser for dispensing flexible sheet material from jumbo-sized rolls. The dispenser includes a housing containing a roll to be dispensed, and protecting the roll from the environment and from vandalism. The housing includes an opening at the bottom thereof to permit a user to withdraw the flexible sheet material. The dispenser includes at least one support roller adjacent the opening. Each support roller supports the roll by its lower periphery, facilitates the rotation of the roll, and maintains a portion of the periphery of the roll adjacent the opening. The housing further includes a wall, with a guide track, which is mounted to a restroom stall wall or another supporting surface. The dispenser also includes a guide mandrel which is slidably retained within the guide track, and is located inside the hollow core of the roll of flexible sheet material. The guide mandrel and guide slot direct the roll along a predetermined path during the entire dispensing of sheet material, and also assure that the roll is maintained in its proper position adjacent the dispenser opening. In addition, the support rollers, the guide slot, and the guide mandrel facilitate the withdrawal of sheet material from the dispenser and reduce the amount of force required to rotate the roll. This permits the sheet material on the roll to be perforated into sections along its length, which in turn, eliminates the need for any sharp or serrated edges normally used for tearing the sheet material.
