摘要： A battery system for a vehicle capable of being driven by electric power is disclosed. The vehicle includes at least one motor/generator and a battery system for supplying electrical power to and receiving electrical power from the motor/generator. The battery system includes multiple battery packs, each comprising a plurality of cells. The plurality of cells in each battery pack are electrically connected with one another. Multiple battery pack housings are provided to house the plurality of cells. Each battery pack housing facilitates electrical connection to one or more other battery pack. The system also includes a compartment containing the multiple battery packs in their housings. The compartment facilitates electrical connection to the motor/generator.

摘要： The present disclosure discloses a current fuse device. The current fuse device comprises: an insulating box having a cavity; a first conductor fixed to the insulating box with a first outer end and a first inner end; a second conductor fixed to the insulating box with a second outer end and a second inner end; and at least one elastic member disposed on at least one of the first conductor and the second conductor and inside the cavity. The elastic member forms an electrical connection between the first inner end of the first conductor and the second inner end of the second conductor. The elastic member has an elastic potential energy to break the electrical connection when a short circuit occurs.

摘要： An electrochemical storage cell is disclosed that comprises a cathode sheet, an anode sheet, and a separator sheet between the cathode and anode sheets. A metal foil current collector extends from a longitudinal edge of the cathode sheet. A further metal foil current collector extends from a longitudinal edge of the anode sheet. The anode sheet, cathode sheet, and separator sheet are wound in a flattened coil shape to produce a core in which the metal foil current collector of the cathode sheet extends beyond the separator sheet at one end of the core and the metal current collector of the anode sheet extends beyond the separator sheet at an opposite end of the core. Overlying layers of the metal foil current collector of the cathode sheet are compressed together and placed in electrical communication with a positive terminal of the cell while overlying layers of the metal foil current collector of the anode sheet are compressed together and placed in electrical communication a negative terminal of the cell.

摘要： A battery system having interconnected battery packs is disclosed. Each battery pack includes a plurality of rectangular prismatic shaped cells. Each cell includes a positive terminal at one end and a negative terminal at the other end. The cells are housed in a battery pack housing in a side-by-side manner. The cells may be electrically connected in series so that the positive terminal for a cell extends toward and contacts the negative terminal of an adjacent cell and the negative terminal for the cell extends toward and contacts the positive terminal of another adjacent cell.
