    • Methods, systems, apparatus and computer program products for implementing a mobile remote payment system that allows consumers and merchants to engage in mobile remote payment transactions regardless of their registration point are described. In an embodiment, a mobile remote payment (MRP) switch computer receives from an originating service manager computer, a payment authorization request that comprises payment data, an originating service manager identifier, and a merchant identifier of a merchant. The MRP switch computer verifies the originating service manager identifier, determines that the merchant is affiliated with the receiving service manager, generates enriched payment instructions that include a switching identifier, transmits the enriched payment instructions to a receiving service manager computer, receives a payment authorization response from the receiving service manager computer that includes an electronic receipt, and transmits the payment authorization response and the electronic receipt to the originating service manager computer.

    • The chucking ring of this invention finds its principal utility in the clamping of top jaws used in a machine tool, such as a lathe, having a chuck and equipped to machine successive workpieces. The chucking ring includes a flanged head on one end of a tubular body portion that removably receives a plug and an adjustable stop for workpieces. The chucking ring is fastened to the chuck with bolts in its inactive position where it functions as a replacement for a chip bushing. The bolts may be removed and the chucking ring rotated to its active position with the flanges on the head aligned with the master jaws for chucking by the master jaws. The top jaws are bolted to the master jaws for machining.

    • A geographical information system and a method are disclosed for geospatially mapping a least one parcel polygon within a geographical region and for displaying at least one specific attribute of each parcel polygon, i.e. a topological area within the given geographical region, as an attached attribute of latitude and longitude coordinates. The centroid or center point of each of the parcel polygons is determined and stored into conventional computer storage means. The latitude and longitude point feature at the centroid of each parcel polygon is established and similarly stored. A unique tax identification number, e.g. the Assessor Parcel Number (APN) or Parcel Identifier Number (PIN), is assigned to each of the point features. A correlation is then made between the unique tax identification number of the point feature to a text list of at least one attribute, e.g., the physical address of the parcel polygon, of each of the point features. This attribute becomes attached to each point feature. The resulting parcel polygon map and point features with one or more of the attached attributes can then be displayed within a GIS or CAD system to provide the user, for example, accurate locations of street addresses for use in environments that require pinpoint accuracy, such as emergency response.
