    • A method and a dispersing machine for hot dispersing a highly consistent fibrous stock. The machine includes at least one stationary stator that includes a plurality of annular concentric rows of stator teeth. At least one rotating rotor is provided that includes a plurality of annular concentric rows of rotor teeth. An annular dispersing zone is formed by the stator teeth and the rotor teeth whereby the rotor teeth are adapted to rotate adjacent the stator teeth such that a distance is maintained between the stator teeth and the rotor teeth in the annular dispersion zone. An inlet is provided that allows the fibrous stock to enter the dispersion machine. A milling element is centrally arranged on the rotor. The milling element is arranged near the inlet and defines a milling zone. An annular chamber is arranged between the dispersion zone and the milling zone. At least one conduit allows a heating medium to enter the annular chamber. At least one rotatable annular centrifugal row of teeth is arranged between the milling element and the annular chamber. The method includes transporting the fibrous stock via the inlet to the milling zone, rotating the milling element to subject the fibrous stock to milling, allowing the fibrous stock to pass by the at least one rotatable annular centrifugal row of teeth, subjecting the fibrous stock to the heating medium in the annular chamber, and moving the fibrous stock through the dispersion zone.

    • Process for dispersing a fibrous paper web which comprises a substantially consistent fibrous paper material. The process includes loosening and pulverizing a fibrous paper material into a fine, friable fibrous material; guiding the fine, friable fibrous material into a vapor chamber in which at least one of a gaseous and vaporous heating medium mixes, calefies, and disperses the fine, friable fibrous material; and dispersing the fine, friable fibrous material in a disperser zone, the disperser zone and the vapor chamber being located in one device. A device for dispersing a fibrous paper web which comprises a substantially consistent fibrous paper material. The device includes an inlet for fibrous paper material, a stationary stator, and at least one rotatable rotor. The stator and the at least one rotor form a pulverizing zone including a pulverizing element located near the inlet for the fibrous paper material, the pulverizing element including least one of scrapers and knives for pulverizing the fibrous material into a fine, friable material; a vapor chamber forming a ring about the pulverizing zone, the vapor chamber being for calefying the fine, friable material formed by the pulverizing element; and a dispersing zone including at least one row of teeth on the stator and at least one row of teeth on the at least one rotor which can be moved relative to the at least one row of teeth of the stator.

    • A process is proposed for the dewatering of compressibly dewaterable materials, in particular waste from the processing of paper material, which enables a very high degree of dewatering so that the waste can be readily disposed of, e.g. dumped. For this purpose, the material to be dewatered is initially pre-dewatered by gravity, and usually also by compression, in a transportation section (5). This pre-dewatering can take place in a continually operating feed section (7) through a perforated sieve jacket (10). The material then reaches a press section (6) in which a discontinuously working pressing device is in operation. Further improvements in the dewatering performance are possible by various embodiments of the corresponding pressing elements (13,14). The invention relates to both the process and the device for implemention of the process.

    • A vane shaft is suspended within a container in a pendulum or swinging fashion at its drive shaft by means of a pivotable coupling. The drive shaft can constitute the output shaft of a drive arrangement composed of a drive motor equipped with a transmission or gearing unit and supported upon a radial arm member. The drive motor together with its transmission also can be arranged in or at a central axis of the orbiting or revolving path of movement of the vane shaft, and the drive shaft can connect the drive motor equipped with the transmission with the vane shaft in the manner of a Cardan shaft. The vane shaft also can be directly suspended at the vertical output shaft of the transmission or gearing arrangement by means of a pivotable coupling. At the lower end of the vane shaft there is secured a buoyant or float body member serving for the lateral deflection of the vane shaft. Above the level of the liquid confined within the container the latter is provided with a substantially ring-shaped guide arrangement which limits the deflection of the vane shaft towards the outside.

    • The method is used for refining a paper fiber suspension (S). This is refined chiefly by compressive forces between two refining surfaces (1, 2) that lie on refiner tools pressed against one another, since the refiner tools in the refining zone do not move or move very little relative to one another. The refining surfaces (1, 2) are embodied to be porous so that they can temporarily absorb or discharge part of the water (W) of the paper fiber suspension (S). An arrangement with central refiner cylinder (3) and refiner rolls (4) arranged on the periphery is particularly suitable as a device for carrying out the method. The refining surfaces can be embodied cylindrically or they can be provided with a toothing.
