摘要： In a fuel inlet device for a fuel tank, a flap valve is provided at an end of a fuel filler tube opening into the fuel tank, and a float which rises with a rise in a surface level of the fuel in the tank closes this flap valve when the fuel surface level has reached a prescribed level. Thus, when the surface level of the fuel in the fuel tank has reached a prescribed level, the flap valve linked with the float is closed, and prevents any more fuel from being filled into the fuel tank because the filling nozzle detects this rise in the surface level of the fuel in the filler tube, and stops filling any more fuel into the tank. Therefore, it is possible to connect the breather tube in the fuel tank directly with a canister device without the intervention of a relief valve, and the internal pressure of the fuel tank can be maintained substantially no higher than the atmospheric pressure. Thus, the release of fuel vapor from the filler cap can be avoided.

摘要： A radiation image read-out apparatus is constituted for scanning a stimulable phosphor sheet carrying a radiation image stored thereon with a beam of stimulating rays which cause the stimulable phosphor sheet to emit light in proportion to the stored radiation energy, and photoelectrically detecting the light emitted by a stimulable phosphor sheet portion scanned with the beam of stimulating rays by use of a photodetector to obtain an image signal. The radiation image read-out apparatus is constituted so that the beam diameter of the beam of stimulating rays is adjusted to be smaller than a picture element size and each of picture elements is scanned by a plurality of scanning passes with the beam of stimulating rays. 摘要： A sheet film package includes a tray for storing a stack of sheet films and a flexible cover member peelably attached to the tray in covering relation to a film access opening for shielding the sheet films in the tray from extraneous light. The cover member is folded back on itself at one end of the tray and has an end portion which extends over the other end of the tray and which will be exposed from a loading device when the sheet film package is loaded in the loading device. The sheet film package may have a cushioning member disposed in the tray and composed of hollow air bags of a flexible material for pressing and holding the sheet films in the package member. A film loading device for loading the sheet film package therein include a light-shielding member for preventing extraneous light from entering a loading slot. The loading slot is closed by a pivotally mounted cover with the end portion of the cover member being led out of the loading slot. The light-shielding member may comprise a roller for pressing the cover member against an engaging portion of the sheet film package or the cover, or may comprise light-shielding blocks mounted on the cover and a frame of the device, respectively, for gripping the cover member therebetween.
