摘要： A package construction for non-aqueous liquid detergent composition includes an outer package of water-permeable, water-insoluble plastic film or textile fabric and an inner package formed of water-soluble material, with an appropriate quantity, e.g. 100 grams, of the non-aqueous liquid composition sealed within the inner bag. A water-impermeable, water-insoluble outer bag or wrapper protects the package and its contents from exposure to moisture or high humidity prior to actual use in the aqueous wash bath. A preferred composition for use with this package construction is a non-aqueous liquid heavy duty no- or low-phosphate built laundry detergent composition which comprises a suspension of hydroxy polycarboxylic acid, e.g. sodium citrate, builder salt in liquid nonionic surfactant. The stability of the composition is improved by the addition of alkylene glycol monoalkyl ether solvents. Stability may be further enhanced by grinding the solid particulate matter, including builder salt, bleach and other minor ingredients to a particle size below about 15 microns. The non-aqueous liquid formulations remain pourable at temperatures as low as about 5.degree. C.

摘要： A textile treatment composition comprises a water insoluble quaternary ammonium salt and a non-ionic surfactant containing at least one long-chain alkyl or fatty acid substituent and a hydrophilic group. The quaternary ammonium compound preferably has three large alkyl substituents of at least carbon atoms each and the surfactant may be selected from phosphine oxides, sulphoxides, or tertiary amine oxides, especially the latter. The compositions may be diluted with water and applied to textile materials especially wool, to give antistatic properties thereto. Compositions of the invention have lower soiling propensity than hitherto available compositions and they may therefore be applied to finished carpets, either in the piece or in situ applications.

摘要： The invention provides storage stable formulations of mothproofing compositions which contain a 5-phenylcarbamoylbarbituric acid and a synthetic pyrethroid as active ingredients and, as formulation components, aliphatic or cycloaliphatic amines or amides or derivatives thereof, and, if appropriate, organic solvents and water, surfactants, emulsifiers and/or dispersants, and optionally aliphatic carboxylic acids. The invention further relates to a process for the preparation of these formulations and to a method of using said formulations for providing keratinous material, in particular wool textiles, with a protective finish against attack by pests that feed on keratin.

摘要： A yarn treating composition useful for application to a filamentary yarn for high-speed friction draw-false twisting. This composition comprises substantially a polyether having a molar copolymerization ratio between propylene and ethylene oxides of 35:65-90:10 and an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 15,000, and small amounts of anionic compounds. The anionic compounds are used in the form of a mixture of salts of specific dicarboxylic acid derivatives with phosphate compounds and/or sulfonate compounds. The application of said treating composition to yarns provides a reduction of fluctuation in friction between the yarns and rollers, guides, etc. and of frictional resistance at a high running speed, improvement in threading property in false twisting, and a sharp decrease in scum deposits on heaters.

摘要： A preparation for shrinkproofing wool composed of:(a) 1 to 50 weight percent of organopolysiloxanes, which are built up from(a.sub.1) 90 to 99.8 mole percent of units of formula R.sub.2.sup.1 SiO, and(a.sub.2) 0.2 to 10 mole percent of units of the formula R.sup.2 SiO.sub.1.5 in whichR.sup.1 and R.sup.2 consist of 0.1 to 10 mole percent of polyoxyalkylene residues and, on the other hand, of 0.03 to 3 mole percent of mercaptoalkyl or mercaptoaryl residues, and/or 0.06 to 6 mole percent of aminoalkyl residues and/or 0.1 to 10 mole percent of anionic groups, which are linked to silicon atoms through carbon atoms,the remaining portion of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 groups being methyl groups, up to 10 mole percent of which however may be replaced by alkyl residues of longer chain length, by aryl residues or by hydrogen atoms, while at the same time up to 5 mole percent of the oxygen atoms, which are liked to silicon, may in each case be replaced by two lower alkoxy or hydroxy groups, and(b) 50 to 99 weight percent of water and/or organic solvents. Wool, treated with this preparation, retains its resistance to shrinking even after repeated launderings. The hand of the wool and the hand of knitted and woven fabrics produced from the wool is not affected.
