摘要： An optical element for terahertz waves that transmits terahertz-wave incident beams through itself after being compressed into half or less a wavelength of the beam, the optical element comprising: a substrate that allows terahertz waves to be transmitted through itself; and a conductive coat that covers a surface of the substrate and is capable of blocking the waves, wherein the coat has an aperture provided in a circular region and ring-shaped grooves, provided on a surface of the coat, having the same center as the circular region and having radii which increase every fixed length, and wherein in the circular region, four or more fan-shaped tips each having an arc with the same radius of curvature as the radius of the region, are arranged at equal distances toward the center of the circle without contacting each other as the arc contacts an outer periphery of the region.

摘要： In a method of producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet by hot-rolling a steel slab of a chemical composition containing C: 0.001˜0.10%, Si: 1.0˜5.0%, Mn: 0.01˜1.0%, at least one of S and Se: 0.01˜0.05% in total, sol. Al: 0.003˜0.050%, N: 0.001˜0.020% by mass, subjecting to cold rolling, a primary recrystallization annealing, application of an annealing separator mainly composed of MgO and a finish annealing, a temperature rising rate S1 between 500˜600° C. in the primary recrystallization annealing is made to not less than 100° C./s and a temperature rising rate S2 between 600˜700° C. is made to 30° C./s˜0.6×S1° C./s, while a total content W (mol %) of an element having an ionic radius of 0.6˜1.3 Å and an attracting force between the ion and oxygen of not more than 0.7 Å−2 included in the annealing separator to MgO is adjusted to satisfy 0.01S2−5.5≦Ln (W)≦0.01S2−4.3 to produce a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having excellent iron loss properties and coating properties.

摘要： A system and method for controlling an operation of a power door of a vehicle are presented. An activation of a user interface device associated with the power door is detected. A cue is provided using a notification device after detecting the activation of the user interface device. In one implementation, the notification device includes an audible alarm. When the user interface device is activated for greater than a predetermined time period, the power door is caused to be in a power mode of operation, and the notification device is used to indicate a current operational mode of the power door. In one implementation, when the user interface device is deactivated within the predetermined time period, the power door is caused to be in a manual mode of operation.

摘要： The card connector can adequately detect the state in which an electronic device such as a memory card to be inserted and removed is fitted, and saves the footprint for mounting the card connector. With this card connector, a card detection switch detects a state in which a memory card is fitted in an accommodating part of a housing through an insertion slot. The card detection switch has movable terminals and fixed terminals, and the movable terminals each have a card contact part which is displaced by being pressed by the memory card to be inserted, and a movable contact part which is displaced in a same direction as a direction in which card contact part is displaced following displacement of the card contact part. The fixed terminals are each arranged in the housing to project in a direction to interest the direction in which the movable contact part is displaced, and is slid against by the movable contact part when the movable contact part is displaced.
