摘要： A medicament delivery device comprises a housing, a holder within the housing for receiving a medicament cartridge, a piston rod for driving a bung of the medicament cartridge, a drive mechanism including a motor for providing an output drive to the piston rod for delivering the medicament and control means for controlling operation of the device. The device is additionally provided with a bung sensor for sensing when the piston rod is in contact with the bung and the control means is operative for advancing the drive of the piston rod towards the bung.

摘要： The present invention relates to an injection device (22) equipped with a compartment articulated with reference to the device to receive a syringe (10) with staked needle (18) protected by a protection cap (20) coupled with the syringe, the compartment being susceptible to evolve from a first open position for the insertion and the removal of the syringe, and a second closed position for the realization of the injection. According to the invention, the device includes a detachment system intended to cooperate with the cap of the syringe to decouple it from the syringe, the detachment being conditioned by the passage of the compartment to its second position. Furthermore, the passage of the compartment from the second to the first position is conditioned by the coupling of the cap.

摘要： The invention relates to a hypodermic injection system having a direct-drive motor for moving a ram towards an injectate chamber for discharging injectate therein through a discharge orifice. The system can have an injection head attached to a housing having an injectate chamber for holding injectate to be injected, a remote discharge device with a control apparatus or the structure for holding a cartridge containing injectate. The injectate supply could be a bottle, a remote reservoir or a cartridge. An injection head can have a nose actuator for enabling an injection only if the nose actuator has engaged the body to be injected. A clamping device clamps the body to be injected. Control is effected through a microprocessor to which the electrically-operated parts of the invention are attached. Control and output signals are readable through an electronic display.

摘要： A drive mechanism suitable for use in drug delivery devices is disclosed. The drive mechanism may be used with injector-type drug delivery devices, such as those permitting a user to set the delivery dose. The drive mechanism may include a housing, a dose dial sleeve, and a drive sleeve. A clutch is configured to permit rotation of the drive sleeve and the dose dial sleeve with respect to the housing when the dose dial sleeve and drive sleeve are coupled through the clutch. Conversely, when the dose dial sleeve and drive sleeve are in a de-coupled state, rotation of the dose dial sleeve with respect to the housing is permitted and rotation of the drive sleeve with respect to the housing is prevented. In the de-coupled state, axial movement of the drive sleeve transfers force in a longitudinal direction for actuation of a drug delivery device.

The plunger is engaged with the inner surface of the dispensing chamber, is capable of sliding in the cavity of the dispensing chamber, and is fluidly sealed to the inner surface of the dispensing chamber. The controller controls the operation of the injection device. The controller reads dosage data from the memory device and operates the injection device to deliver a dosage corresponding to the dosage data.

摘要： An administering device for liquid medicine including a basal rate selection switch for adjusting a basal rate, a bolus button encompassing an adjusting wheel for adjusting a bolus dose, and a trigger button for triggering administering of said dose, wherein the trigger button is centrally disposed in the adjusting wheel and the bolus button is arranged at an angle on the housing to make it easier to manipulate it, and wherein, to increase operational safety, a bolus is administered only when a specific sequence of states of the bolus button have been achieved and/or followed. In some embodiments, the bolus button may be additionally used for acknowledging alerts and/or, in some embodiments, a pillow-type, cushioning cover allows the device to be comfortably used also when sleeping. The invention encompasses a method of using an administering device, wherein during operation of the device, a basal rate selection switch is covered by a locking mechanism which locks a cartridge and an adapter for a catheter on a base unit.

A housing at least partially encloses the dispensing chamber housing, the storage chamber, the piezoelectric array, the power source, and the controller. The piezoelectric array is activated to pump the substance from the storage chamber to the dispensing chamber.
