摘要： The present invention relates to a dose control device adapted to be removably mounted onto an exterior peripheral surface of an injectable drug delivery device, the drug delivery device comprising a substantially elongate drug delivery body, at least one injectable drug held by the body, the body having a distal and proximal extremity, wherein the dose control device comprises a first component configured to fit and substantially encase at least a portion of an exterior peripheral surface of said drug delivery device, and located at a proximal extremity of said drug delivery device; a second component configured to fit and substantially encase a corresponding remaining unencased portion of the exterior peripheral surface of said drug delivery device, and also located at a proximal extremity of said drug delivery device; wherein said first component and said second component removably engage with each other to form a unit having a longitudinal bore that extends along a longitudinal axis of said drug delivery device, and in which bore the drug delivery device is encased between said first component and said second component.

摘要： An apparatus and methods for tracking administering of medication by syringes is provided. The apparatus may include a plunger head for a syringe. The plunger head may include a transducer that sends and receives ultrasonic signals. The plunger may also include an antenna and a microcontroller that interfaces with the transducer and the antenna. The plunger may also include a power source that powers the microcontroller and the transducer. The transducer, the antenna, the microcontroller, and the power source may be at least partially encapsulated in an elastomer housing that fits within a barrel of the syringe. The microcontroller may be programmed with instructions to calculate data representative of the quantity of medication dispensed from the barrel and transmit the data to a remote device via the antenna.

摘要： A medication injection pen (50) includes a housing (1) and a dose set knob (2) rotatably connected to the housing (1) for setting a dose. An indicator member (200) is movable between a visible position indicating a zero position of the dose set knob (2) and a non-visible position indicating a non-zero position of the dose set knob (2). The indicator member is visible to a user in the visible position and not visible to the user in the non-visible position. The dose set knob is in the zero position when a set dose has been completely administered. Accordingly, a visible indication is provided to the user when a set dose has been completely administered.

摘要： The present invention relates to injectors, such as pen-type injectors, that provide for administration of medicinal products from a multidose cartridge and permit a user to set the delivery dose. The injector may include a housing, a cartridge containing medicinal product, the cartridge being retained within the housing, means for selecting a dose of medicinal product to be expelled, and means for expelling the selected dose of medicinal product. The housing may be a unitary housing within which the means for selecting a dose and the means for expelling the selected dose are moveably retained. Alternatively, the injector may include a housing, a piston rod, an insert located in the housing and through which the piston may rotate, ratchet means, a dose dial sleeve, a drive sleeve, a button located on the drive sleeve and rotatable with respect to the drive sleeve, and clutch means which upon depression of the button prevents rotation between the dose dial sleeve and the drive sleeve.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a spring arrangement for use in a drug delivery device and a drug delivery device including such a spring arrangement. The spring arrangement includes a clutch spring which is located axially interposed between a stationary housing component and an axially movable sleeve. The sleeve includes clutch features adapted to engage corresponding clutch features of a clutch element. The clutch spring biases the clutch features and the corresponding clutch features into engagement. The sleeve is coupled to a button such that upon actuation of the button the sleeve is translated against the bias of the clutch spring from a proximal position in which the sleeve is rotationally locked to the housing component into a distal position in which the sleeve is rotationally un-locked from the housing component. Upon release of the button the clutch spring translates the sleeve and the button into the proximal position.

摘要： A drive mechanism suitable for use in drug delivery devices is disclosed. The drive mechanism may be used with injector-type drug delivery devices, such as those permitting a user to set the delivery dose. The drive mechanism may include a housing, a dose dial sleeve, and a drive sleeve. A clutch is configured to permit rotation of the drive sleeve and the dose dial sleeve with respect to the housing when the dose dial sleeve and drive sleeve are coupled through the clutch. Conversely, when the dose dial sleeve and drive sleeve are in a de-coupled state, rotation of the dose dial sleeve with respect to the housing is permitted and rotation of the drive sleeve with respect to the housing is prevented. In the de-coupled state, axial movement of the drive sleeve transfers force in a longitudinal direction for actuation of a drug delivery device.
