    • An embodiment of the invention provides a thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) array substrate comprising: a gate line and a data line that intersect with each other to define a pixel region; and a pixel electrode and a thin film transistor formed in the pixel region. The thin film transistor comprises: a gate electrode connected with the gate line; a semiconductor island positioned above the gate electrode; and a source electrode and a drain electrode that are formed on the semiconductor island. A surface of the semiconductor island contacting with the source electrode and the drain electrode comprises ohmic contact regions subject to a surface treatment and a region of the semiconductor layer between the source electrode and the drain electrode is covered with a barrier layer. Another embodiment of the invention provides a method of manufacturing a thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) array substrate.

    • A digital version of both amplitude and phase of a received optical is developed by employing direct differential detection in conjunction with digital signal processing. The signal is split into three copies. An intensity profile is conventionally obtained using one of the copies. Phase information is obtained by supplying each remaining copy to a respective one of a pair of optical delay interferometers that have orthogonal phase offsets, followed by respective balanced intensity detectors. The output of each of the balanced intensity detectors, and the intensity profile, are each converted to respective digital representations. Signal processing is used to develop the phase information from the digital representations of the output of the balanced intensity detector outputs.

    • An apparatus for blocking unwanted calls is disclosed. The apparatus incorporates a whitelist which the user can program so that known friendly callers are not interrupted by the apparatus. The apparatus also incorporates a blacklist which automatically rejects known unwanted callers so that the user is not interrupted by these calls. Additionally, the apparatus allows the user to easily add new numbers to either the blacklist or white list and also to delete numbers from the white list, blacklist or master list of caller IDs. For new numbers, callers are presented with a simple but yet effective message that states that the caller should hang up if the caller is a solicitor or telemarketer, or otherwise press zero so that the apparatus can allow the call to go through to the telephone.

    • According to the present invention, there is provided an organic thin film transistor array substrate and a method for manufacturing the same and a display device. The method for manufacturing the organic thin film transistor array substrate comprises: forming a pattern comprising a source electrode, a drain electrode, a data line and a pixel electrode on a transparent substrate through a first patterning process; forming an organic semiconductor pattern, a gate insulating layer pattern, a pattern comprising a gate electrode and a gate line through a second patterning process on the transparent substrate after the first patterning process; depositing a passivation layer on the transparent substrate after the second patterning process, and forming a pattern comprising a data line pad region, a gate line pad region and a pixel pad region through a third patterning process; and forming a pattern of a common electrode on the transparent substrate after the third patterning process through a fourth patterning process. The technical solutions of the present invention can increase production efficiency of the organic thin film transistor array substrate and reduce production costs.
