    • In order to promote bloodstream and reduce fatigue, a device of the present invention makes a slight sitting posture change by adding a minute body motion with no necessity of moving a cushion frame or a seat frame though it realizes a supporting pressure change at a wide area, not locally, in a seat cushion or a seat back. It includes a cushioning member (30) for a seat cushion stretched across the cushion frame (10), and a cushioning member (40) for a seat back stretched across the back frame (20). The seat structure of the present invention includes: a lower cloth spring (31a) of a seat cushion or a cloth spring (41) of a seat back stretched across the cushion frame (10) or the back frame (20) via a torsion bar (11); and a cloth spring adjusting member (50) to change a supporting pressure by the cushioning member (30) for the seat cushion and the cushioning member (40) for the seat back through adjusting tension of the lower cloth spring (31a) or the cloth spring (41).

    • A vibration relief apparatus capable of reducing a frequency at a resonance point, to thereby reduce vibration transmissibility, resulting in improving a feeling in riding in a vehicle during traveling thereof. A suspension unit which is a vibration relief apparatus of the present invention includes coil springs and a torsion bar substantially horizontally arranged with respect to an X-link. The coil springs constitutes a first spring mechanism having negative spring characteristics and the torsion bar constitutes a second spring mechanism having positive spring characteristics. Such configuration permits a spring system constituted by the first and second spring mechanisms to have a spring constant about an equilibrium point set to be about 0. This permits a phase delay to be produced in a low-frequency region, so that the vibration relief apparatus may exhibit enhances vibration absorbing characteristics.

    • A vibration damping apparatus using a magnetic circuit which is easier and less expensive to manufacture than conventional apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises a moving member 30 placed to move relatively away from and close to magnets 20 and 21 and made of a magnetic material which generates attraction force between the moving member 30 and the magnets 20 and 21, metal springs 40 and 41 as elastic members urging the moving member 30 in a direction in which the moving member 30 approaches the magnets 20 and 21, and rubbers 60 and 61 as cushioning members mounted on predetermined positions to prevent the moving member 30 from coming in contact with the magnets 20 and 21. A negative spring constant is created by using an attracting magnetic circuit formed between the magnets 20 and 21 and the moving member 30, and to this, the elastic force of the metal springs 40 and 41 having a positive spring constant with the same value as the negative spring constant is added, whereby a total spring constant within a predetermined range of displacement can be set to substantially near zero by a very simple configuration.

    • A motion sickness expression apparatus capable of causing expression of motion sickness on a person riding in any posture on the apparatus without setting the apparatus in a vehicle. The apparatus includes a base, a vertical vibrator to which the vibration application unit is connected so as to be vertically movable with respect to the base through link members and which is constructed so as to support the body carrying section thereon, and a magnetic spring mechanism including permanent magnets arranged on the base and vertical vibrator so as to repel each other, respectively. The magnetic spring mechanism also includes an actuator for moving the permanent magnet arranged on the base to vary areas of the permanent magnets opposite to each other, leading to vibration of the vertical vibrator.
