The adjustable pulley is slideably connected to the vertical post. The adjustable pulley includes a pull pin and a lock. The pull pin is selectively engageable with one of the plurality of engagement holes. In response to the pull pin being engaged with an engagement hole, movement of the adjustable pulley relative to the vertical post is restricted. The lock is selectively engageable. In response to the lock being engaged with the pull pin, movement of the pull pin is restricted.

摘要： A weight training machine according to the present invention is a machine for conducting a dead lift or a bent over row while selecting and increasing/decreasing the weight, the machine comprising: a pair of body units, on which weight plates are stacked in the upward/downward direction, and which are provided on both sides of an operating unit, respectively; an operating unit, which is provided between the pair of body units, and which can move in the upward/downward direction; and a cable pulley unit for connecting the body units and the operating unit to each other such that, as the operating unit is moved in the upward/downward direction, the weight plates can be moved in the upward/downward direction, wherein, as the user operates the operating unit in the upward/downward direction and thereby moves the cable of the pair of cable pulley units, the user accordingly moves the weight plates on the body units, which are connected to the cable, thereby conducting weight training. The present invention, as described above, advantageously can provide a weight training machine, which is the purpose of the present invention, configured such that, when the exerciser wants to conduct a dead lift, a bent over row, etc., during weight training, the weight can be easily increased/decreased, and the basic postures can be easily learned, thereby reducing injuries.

摘要： Handles for use in exercise apparatus and in lifting apparatus are provided. The handles have an elongated handle body with a top head, a bottom head, and a central bore extending along a longitudinal axis. A top pulley is coupled to the top head and is rotatable around a top axis that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A bottom pulley is coupled to the bottom head and is rotatable around a bottom axis that is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. At least one secondary pulley is associated with at least one of the top pulley and the bottom pulley. A cord is disposed on a circumferential surface of the top pulley, the cord passing through the central bore and being disposed on a circumferential surface of the bottom pulley, so that when the handle body is moved, the top and bottom pulleys rotate to allow the cord to travel smoothly through the central bore.

The symptoms exhibited by the patient are minimized by adjusting an intensity of the strengthening exercise, limiting a range of motion of the strengthening exercise, dividing evenly a prescribed number of sets and repetitions corresponding to the strengthening exercise, dividing unevenly the prescribed number of sets and repetitions corresponding to the strengthening exercise, varying a speed at which the patient is subjected to the strengthening exercise, modifying a position of the patient for the strengthening exercise, matching a mode of the strengthening exercise to the modified patient's position, and switching between primary, secondary and tertiary actions of the patient's target muscle.

摘要： A dumbbell with a selectable number of weight disks includes a handle with pins projectable in opposing directions, a base assembly for accommodating two sets of weight disks standing upright, and having through-going openings. Neighbouring weight disks have mutually cooperating connecting arrangements which axially interconnect the weight disks but which permit radial separation. The projection lengths of the pins are stepwise selectable in order thereby to permit selection of the number of weight disks carried on the handle. The handle has, in opposing ends, connecting arrangements for interconnecting with the connecting arrangements of the innermost weight disks in the base assembly. Further, the space between the connecting arrangements of the handle is free through 360° about the handle throughout its entire length, the openings of the weight disks being centrally located.

摘要： The present invention provides an apparatus and method for exercising a body part from any angle with variable resistance while taking up minimal floor space. The apparatus improves the ability of athletes, including football players and wrestlers, to better prepare for contact from any angle while engaged in their sport. The apparatus includes a ring having a guide track therein. A first end of a resistive band may be received by and wrapped around the guide track while encompassing a source of resistance at another end. The source of resistance may be other gym equipment including a pulley. Alternatively, the guide track may be on an inner surface of a stationary outer ring configured to receive a bearing disposed on an outer surface of a rotatable inner ring. The inner ring may include an inflatable bladder disposed along its inside to provide a perfect fit.
