    • A time indication setting circuit for accelerating or stopping the advance of the time indicating mechanism in an electronic timepiece. A delay circuit receives time pulses developed within the timepiece and the time pulses and delayed time pulses from the delay circuit are applied to a gate circuit. The gate circuit applies the time pulses and the delayed time pulses, under the control of a control circuit, to the timepiece drive train to drive the timepiece time indicating mechanism at a rate determined by the pulse repetition rate of the pulses applied to the drive train. The control circuit is manually operable to apply the control signal so the gate circuit applies both the time and the delayed time pulses to the drive train and thereby accelerates the advance of the time indicating mechanism, or to block both the time and the time indicating pulses and thereby stop the advance of the time indicating mechanism or to apply only the time pulses to the drive train so that the time indicating mechanism advances at a normal rate.

    • An electronic time-piece is advanced by electronic pulses which are generated by a fixed frequency signal source. In order to correct the indication of the time-piece, a circuit is provided for adding or deleting pulses to thereby increment or decrement the indication. One push-button switch is provided for both adding or subtracting seconds from the indication displayed by the time-piece. Each depression of the push-button adds one second to the indication. When the user depresses the push-button and holds it depressed, one second is initially added to the indication, and then further transmission of electronic pulses is blocked so that the user may effectively subtract as many seconds as necessary from the displayed indication.

    • A timepiece having a high frequency time keeping oscillator including a quartz vibrator coupled through ripple binary dividers and waveform shaping circuits to a motor driving circuit. A pulse motor is operatively coupled to said motor driver circuit which also includes a sub-circuit having a monostable multivibrator. The ripple binary dividers and waveform shaping circuits are preset by a make-switch so as to produce motor driver signals for application to said motor driver circuit immediately after the make-switch is opened, while pulses are applied by said sub-circuit to said pulse motor during such resetting.
