    • An electric oil pump is coupled to a pump receptacle including an oil inflow passage and an oil outflow passage. The electric oil pump includes a motor, a pump rotor, a housing, and a check valve. The housing accommodates the motor and the pump rotor. The housing closes an opening of the pump receptacle and includes at least a fitted portion fitted into the pump receptacle. An oil compartment is formed between the pump receptacle and the housing. Oil flows into the oil compartment from the oil inflow passage when the pump rotor is rotated. The fitted portion is partially immersed in the oil collected in the oil compartment. The housing includes a suction port and a discharge port. A check valve, located in the housing, limits reversed flow of the oil from the oil compartment to the oil inflow passage.

    • A hydraulic device includes a gerotor assembly, a wobble stick, an output shaft, a housing assembly, a first port in the housing assembly, a second port in the housing assembly, first brake disks, second brake disks, a piston, and a biasing member. The gerotor assembly includes a rotor and a stator. The wobble stick connects at a first end to the rotor. The output shaft connects to a second end of the wobble stick. The second port is also in communication with the gerotor assembly. The piston cooperates with the housing assembly to define a brake pressure chamber. The housing assembly and the first and second ports are configured such that pressurization of either port results in pressurization of the brake pressure chamber. The biasing member is disposed in the housing and contacts the piston. The biasing member urges the piston toward at least one of the brake disks.

    • A progressing cavity stator is provided. The progressing cavity stator includes a fiber reinforced composite component providing an internal helical cavity having at least one helical groove and an elastomeric liner disposed on an internal surface of the fiber reinforced composite component. In various exemplary embodiments, the fiber reinforced composite component includes a plurality of fibers disposed in a matrix material, the plurality of fibers being disposed such that distinct portions thereof follow correspondingly distinct directions. Exemplary embodiments of this invention may advantageously exhibit a prolonged service life in downhole applications as compared to conventional progressing cavity stators. A replaceable progressing cavity insert for a stator is also provided. Methods for fabricating progressing cavity stators and progressing cavity inserts are also provided.

    • An apparatus for encrusting a filling material is provided. The apparatus includes a screw-transferring apparatus to transfer a filling material and encrusting material, and vane pumps to transfer the respective filling and encrusting materials to a combining nozzle. The combining nozzle combines the crust that is supplied by the vane pump for crusts out of the filling material that is supplied by the vane pump for filling materials. Each screw-transferring apparatus includes horizontal screws. Each vane pump has a vertical rotating shaft. The end of each screw is free and is positioned at the inlet of each vane pump. At the inlet of each vane pump a food-guide plane is formed. That plane is tangent to a trajectory of the outer edge of the vane of the vane pump. The trajectory forms a circle that has the biggest diameter among all of the trajectories defined by the outer edges of the vanes when the vanes rotate.
