    • A controller of an AC motor includes a d-axis voltage command section to generate a d-axis voltage command on a d axis of a d-q coordinate system. A d-axis non-interactive control section removes, from the d-axis voltage command, an interference component resulting from a current on a q axis of the system. A first current deviation arithmetic section obtains a deviation between a current command on the q axis and the current on the q axis flowing through the AC motor. A q-axis integral control section outputs an integral value of the deviation. A q-axis voltage command section generates a q-axis voltage command based on the deviation. A constant output control section outputs a correction voltage command based on the integral value. A d-axis voltage command correction section subtracts the correction voltage command from the d-axis voltage command after non-interactive control to correct the d-axis voltage command.

    • To present a motor drive control device capable of realizing high speed driving by a simple power feeding control method. The motor drive control device of the invention has a three-phase full bridge circuit for adjusting the feeding phase so as to invert the terminal voltage in feeding-off time, by cyclically repeating positive direction feeding period, non-feeding period, negative direction feeding period, and non-feeding period. In high speed driving, the phase is adjusted so as to invert the terminal voltage right after feeding-off, and if not reaching the desired rotating speed, the feeding time is shortened. As a result, the phase angle to the actual applied voltage can be advanced, and high seed rotation by weak-field system driving is realized.

    • There is provided a electric power steering device which can perform torque control through a simple arithmetic process using a synchronous reluctance motor having a nonlinear current/torque characteristic. A target torque is transmitted from an EPS control unit 41 to a motor control unit 51. The motor control unit 51 calculates a target-current effective value I and a target-current phase θ from the input target torque. Based on the calculated target-current effective value I and target-current phase θ, calculation is changed whether to perform calculation so that the maximum torque (the maximum torque obtainable at the minimum current effective value) can be obtained, or to perform calculation so that the maximum output (the maximum output obtainable at the minimum current effective value) can be obtained in accordance with a duty ratio of an output by a PWM converting unit 57 comprising a three-phase inverter. Next, a three-phase biaxial converting unit 53 calculates a target q-axis current Iq and a target d-axis current Id from the target-current effective value I and the target-current phase θ, and the PWM converting unit 57 performs duty control in order to control the torque of a motor 58.
