摘要： A video tape recorder has an erase head positioned at a predetermined distance ahead of the record/playback head along the transport path of the tape. A first additional head is energized simultaneously with the erase head to leave a mark on an auxiliary track. The mark is sensed by a second additional head spaced from the first additional head by a distance equal to the distance between the erase and record/playback heads. The sensed mark causes the record/playback head to be switched to the recording circuit thereby causing the recording to begin at the start of the taped portion erased by the erase head.

If this association results in the locking of the video tape recorder to the incorrect color frame, the association of the input color burst phase relationship to the color frame phases is reversed to provide correct color framing in subsequent edits in response to the off-tape to input video color burst phase so long as the input video horizontal sync to color burst phase remains substantially constant.

摘要： An apparatus and method are provided for composing and filling out forms with variable data which is selectively entered or printed onto blank spaces of the forms. In one form, the image of a document which is adapted to serve as a record when properly completed with the variable information entered thereon, is generated on the viewing screen of an electronic display such as a cathode ray tube by generating the full-frame video picture signal from a recording thereof which was originally generated by video scanning the original document. Character generating signals representative of the variable information are thereafter generated by selectively depressing keys and operate to generate characters along selected blank spaces of the form image by modulating and deflection controlling the write-beam which is also utilized to generate the image of the form. Digital signals generated by a computer or storage device may also be utilized to create the image of the form on the cathode ray tube and automatically operable means is provided to deflection control the write-beam of the tube to the head of each selected blank space of the image of the form prior to effecting each entry of information thereon. When the blank spaces defined by the image of the form are completely or suitably filled with information, a camera or other suitable copy making device is operated to provide a print or reproduction of the form. A full-frame video signal may also be generated by properly operating the read-beam of the tube to scan the image screen thereof after the form has been suitably filled out.

摘要： The technology disclosed herein includes a user interface for viewing and combining media items into a video. An example method includes presenting a user interface that displays media items in a first portion of the user interface; receiving user input in the first portion that comprises a selection of a first media item; upon receiving the user input, adding the first media item to a set of selected media items and updating the user interface to comprise a control element and a second portion, wherein the first and second portions are concurrently displayed and are each scrollable along a different axis, and the second portion displays image content of the set and the control element enables a user to initiate the creation of the video based on the set of selected media items; and creating the video based on video content of the set of selected media items.
