摘要： A bag or other item handling system including support struts that connect either to the interior of a vehicle trunk lid, or to the back of preferably a rear seat, for securement of support arms, which include integral hooks, and to which handled bags may be secured during transit of a vehicle. A modification provides the connection of a molded base or platform, having formed cavities therein, and to which accessory items may locate, be strapped or otherwise fastened in place, for storage when not in use. When system is applied to the back of a rear seat of a vehicle, a fastening bar may secure to the seat, at various elevated locations, interconnect pivotal hinge assemblies thereto, for supporting the support struts and support arms in place, for temporarily holding merchandise laden bags or other items in place, during transit or storage. The bag handling system of this invention can also be fabricated for use in conjunction with suspension hooks, for suspending over the upper edge of the back seat of a vehicle or van, or more permanent types of fasteners may be used for securement of the system directly to the internal structure of the back seat, for more permanent installation. In addition, the bag handling system may be made to narrowing widths, and suspended over a seat back of a single width seat, or the system may be permanently installed thereto, through supporting structure. In addition, the support arms of this invention may be affixed permanently to the interior of the trunk lid of the vehicle, for convenient usage in that manner.

A partition wall extends between the front and back walls, separating the container into separate compartments. The side walls and the partition wall are hingedly attached to the floor panel and selectively fold flat against the floor panel. The front and back walls are two-piece members, each comprising a top portion and a lower portion. Each upper portion is hingedly connected along a seam to the corresponding lower portion. In turn, each lower portion is attached to the floor panel. The front wall lower portion is hingedly attached to the floor panel and may be lowered forward to allow access to the interior of the container. The container also includes a top panel that covers the contents of the container. Doors in the top panel provide access to the container interior. The top panel collapses along with the front and back walls, the side walls, and the partition wall, placing the container in a compact orientation.

摘要： An assemble-in-place storage container mounts in the space behind the front seats of an extended cab truck. The container contains bottom, side, front, back and top panels which are configured to form the body of the container, as well as divider panels to provide compartments within the container. The container mounts on the horizontally oriented metallic back supports of the folded down jump seats of an extended cab truck. The bottom panel is sized and shaped to fit over the "footprint" of the folded down jump seats, and side panels are hinged to the bottom panel and are collapsed onto the bottom panel. With the bottom panel in place, the side panels are extended to the vertical; the side panels having sloping front edges conforming to the taper of the back of the truck's seats. The back and front panels are then vertically put into place, and are locked into position by tabs which fit into slots in the side panels. Divider panels having tabs which lock to slots in the front and back panels may then be inserted into the container to provide internal compartments. No tools or hardware are required in assembly of the container of the invention, and the entire assembly operations are performed without removal of the front seats from the cab. The container efficiently fills the space available in the cab extension, and because it substantially fills the space it is impossible to install or remove the assembled container without disassembly.

摘要： An automobile accessory to be attached to the inside of the trunk lid. When the trunk lid is open, it provides a horizontal shelf in its operative position. The horizontal shelf provides space and support for various items, such as food and beverages. The device has two planar elements hingedly attached to each other along one edge, respectively. The two opposite edges of the planar elements are attached to each other by flexible adjustable straps. One planar element is fabricated with a uniform pattern of aperatures to cooperate with the trunk lid structure and provide different attachment points necessary for different automobiles. Fasteners, extending through the selected aperatures, are attached to the appropriate points on the inside of the trunk lid by bracket, magnet or otherwise adhered thereto, affixing the planar element to the trunk lid. The length of the straps is adjusted to compensate for the angle of the opened trunk lid by which the other planar element pivots into and is held as a horizontal shelf.
