摘要： A transformer converts high frequency pulses, transmitted through a coaxial cable from a power supply unit positioned at a distance from a gap formed between a tool electrode and a workpiece and having a direct current power supply and switching element, into high frequency alternating current pulses, and is connected to that gap. The transformer includes a ring core, a primary winding connected to the coaxial cable, and a secondary winding connected to the gap. Preferably, these windings will have a minimum number of turns. Further, a bypass means is provided which selectively passes the direct current pulse from the direct current power supply or the alternating current pulse induced in the transformer to the gap. It is preferable to house the bypass means and the transformer in a single case positioned in the vicinity of the gap.

As a result, the required bandwidth of the emergent call is successfully reserved. Furthermore, the present invention is designed such that a deteriorated normal call is detoured to a detour circuit to improve the communication quality of the normal call. In the detouring process, one or more detour circuits are managed for each normal call so that the possibility of a successful detour to a detour circuit can be raised. Additionally, in the normal call detouring process, a plurality of detour circuits guarantee a normal call its communication quality even if a single detour circuit is not enough to meet the required bandwidth of a normal call.

摘要： The present invention has an electrode for energization use of a thermal head having an unprecedentedly new electrode construction of a full peripherally surrounding type, so that one heating portion corresponds to one individual electrode without separation or independence of a heating resistor. Thus, the heating efficiency in the printing operation is improved to increase the thermal response property, thus making it possible to save the power. Furthermore, the full periphery surrounding electrode portion is adapted to be completely covered by the heating resistor to remove the dispersion of the resistance values of each dot responsible for the dispersion of the printing width of the heating resistor, and to completely provide uniformity by an energization overload trimming system. The heating efficiency and the thermal response property are improved, and the uneven printing concentration of each dot is removed to make the gradation recording property better, thus making it possible to have an embodiment of a thermal head capable of high-quality printing and having high reliability.
