    • A transformer converts high frequency pulses, transmitted through a coaxial cable from a power supply unit positioned at a distance from a gap formed between a tool electrode and a workpiece and having a direct current power supply and switching element, into high frequency alternating current pulses, and is connected to that gap. The transformer includes a ring core, a primary winding connected to the coaxial cable, and a secondary winding connected to the gap. Preferably, these windings will have a minimum number of turns. Further, a bypass means is provided which selectively passes the direct current pulse from the direct current power supply or the alternating current pulse induced in the transformer to the gap. It is preferable to house the bypass means and the transformer in a single case positioned in the vicinity of the gap.

    • In an automatic depositing/dispensing apparatus, a plurality of note storage sections is provided in a housing each storing deposited notes of a denomination and includes first and second notes storage sections for storing first and second denomination notes available for dispensation and a third note storage section for storing third denomination notes unavailable for dispensation. One sorting gate corresponding to the third note storage means leads thereto both those note which are judged to be of a denomination unavailable for dispensation as a result of denomination detection for the deposited notes by a judgement section, and those notes which are judged unfit by the fit/unfit detection for notes to be dispensed.

    • In an automatic depositing/dispensing apparatus, a plurality of note storage sections is provided in a housing. Each of the note storage sections stores deposited notes of a denomination and includes a cash box into which notes are collected in one direction, collection/takeout device disposed at one end portion of the cash box, whereby the deposited notes from a note inlet are led and collected into the cash box, and the notes collected in the cash box are taken out and delivered to a note outlet, and a partitioning mechanism capable of selectively assuming a first posture to engage both side edges of the notes stored in the cash box, or a second posture removed from the side edges, and movable between a first position inside the cash box and a second position adjacent to collection/takeout device, so that a temporary storage space is defined between the collection/takeout device and the partitioning mechanism in the first posture and in the first position.
