    • The present invention provides a method for verifying a design of a circuit board that has a wiring layer connecting components to be mounted, a power layer, and an insulating layer formed between the wiring layer and the power layer. According to this method, detection of chippings in the power layer is performed. The chipping is, for example, a gap, a slot, or a slit, and corresponds to one wiring layer and interrupts a region in which the wiring layer and the power layer are opposed to each other. When chippings are detected, a common-mode voltage expected to be caused owing to each of the chippings is computed. Subsequently, the position of the chipping and the value of the common-mode voltage caused owing to the chipping are outputted. Thus, the priorities of the chippings, to which countermeasure for suppressing radiation of electromagnetic waves should be applied, can easily be decided.

Alternatively, coefficients of correlation between the measured values of the selected monitoring items and the set values of the molding conditions are obtained, and the molding condition items are displayed in the order of priority of correlation and selected. For example, a metering time, minimum cushion amount, and peak pressure are selected as the monitoring items, and a first stage injection speed and barrel 3 temperature as the molding condition items. Thus, the trend chart is displayed with a time base on its abscissa axis, and the influence of the set values on the measured values can be grasped with ease.

    • A single row rotating-type eddy current braking apparatus for use with a rotor mounted on a powered shaft comprises a support ring, a plurality of magnets, a plurality of ferromagnetic switching plates, and a support body. The apparatus also utilizes a pneumatic cylinder designed to rotate in the direction of the shaft rotation to achieve a braking state, and can employ a single rod double acting cylinder to switch between braking and non-braking states.
