摘要： There is disclosed a magnetic recording medium in which a seed layer, under layer, intermediate layer, first magnetic layer, nonmagnetic layer, second magnetic layer, protective layer, and lubricant layer are successively laminated on a glass substrate, the nonmagnetic layer is constituted of an alloy containing Cr and C, and the magnetic layer is constituted of an alloy containing Co and Pt. The under layer includes at least the seed layer for finely dividing the crystal particles of the magnetic layer, the seed layer includes at least two or more layers of nonmagnetic films, and the intermediate layer formed of the material different from that of the nonmagnetic film is interposed between the nonmagnetic films. In measurement of the thermal stability of the magnetic recording medium, a head is used, the head includes a read/write element, and a write track width is twice or more as large as a read track width in the head.

摘要： A recirculating valve according to the present invention comprises a fuel supplying passage in fluid communication with a fuel tank and an engine, a return passage in fluid communication with the engine and the fuel tank, a communication passage in fluid communication with the fuel supplying passage and the return passage. A temperature sensitive displacement portion that is provided in the fuel supplying passage and displaces in accordance with the fuel temperature. An on-off valve closes the communication passage when the fuel temperature in the fuel supplying passage is above a first prescribed temperature, and opens the communication passage when the fuel temperature in the fuel supplying passage is below a second prescribed temperature, in accordance with a displacement of the temperature sensitive displacement portion.

摘要： The number of components of a high frequency power amplifier is reduced. A bias resistance ratio is adjusted in accordance with a change in the threshold voltage Vth of a transistor. A high frequency power amplifier has a plurality of amplifying systems. Each of these systems has an input terminal to which a signal to be amplified is supplied, an output terminal, a bias terminal, a plurality of amplifying stages which are sequentially cascaded between the input and output terminals, and a bias circuit connected to the bias terminal and each of the amplifying stages to apply a bias potential to the amplifying stage. The amplifying stage includes a control terminal for receiving an input signal and the bias potential supplied to the stage and a first terminal for transmitting an output signal of the stage.

The image forming unit uses a plurality of different color developing agents to form a color image on a recording medium. The plurality of different color developing agents are configured from binding resins with the same thermal properties. The plurality of different color developing agents include at least a high-resistance developing agent and a low-resistance developing agent. The high-resistance developing agent has a higher electrical resistance than the low-resistance developing agent and a lower charge-to-mass ratio than the low-resistance developing agent. The thermal fixing unit thermally fixes the color image onto the recording medium.

摘要： A fixing device has a fixing unit and a temperature detection unit. The fixing unit includes a heat roller provided with a roller section and a heater section, and a pressure roller in pressure contact with the heat roller. These rollers are disposed in a protective cover. The roller section includes a base layer of aluminum formed into a hollow cylindrical shape, a black radiation layer, and a toner parting layer. The heater section is disposed in a hollow space of the base layer. In this heat roller, when heat is emitted from the heater section, and the heat is transmitted to the radiation layer via the base layer, greater amount of infrared radiation is emitted from the radiation layer than in the case of a heat roller that is not equipped with the radiation layer. The temperature detecting unit includes an infrared radiation sensor. Thus, even if a noise component is absorbed to some extent by locating the sensor at a distance from the heat roller on an outside of the protective cover, the temperature of the heat roller is detected accurately.
