摘要： An apparatus for indicating a strike at bowling alleys has a display board provided with a plurality of displays adapted to show a plurality of symbols thereon, a detector adapted to detect the occurrence of a strike, a microcomputer adapted to determine a several-digit number at random in accordance with an output from the detector, and a lighting circuit adapted to show numerals on the display board in accordance with numeric signals from the microcomputer. The microcomputer outputs random numeric signals successively to the lighting circuit with the microcomputer has received an output from the detector, to show numerals on the display board so that the numerals look as if they were rotated, and the outputting of the numeric signals to the lighting circuit is continued so as to show after the lapse of a predetermined period of time the determined numerals on the displays on the display board in order at predetermined time intervals.

摘要： A flow control apparatus for a brake master cylinder of a vehicle includes a valve chamber formed within a plug threadably secured to an outlet port of the master cylinder which is fluidically connected to the wheel cylinders of the vehicle, a flow control valve movably disposed within the valve chamber having projecting portions on one face of a flat portion thereof for providing a gap between the valve chamber wall and the valve in one end position of movement of the valve and a flow passage through the flat portion, a spring retainer secured within the inner end of the plug having a central opening for slidably receiving a central extension of the other face of the valve flat portion and a plurality of flow passages therethrough, and a compression spring between the other face of the valve portion and the spring retainer for normally maintaining the valve against the valve chamber wall with the projecting portions abutting thereagainst, whereby brake pedal depression and release alters the quantity of fluid flowing between the master cylinder and the wheel cylinders.

摘要： A semiconductor memory cell includes: a memory element formed by a first field effect transistor having a gate insulating film made of a ferroelectric film; and a select switching element formed by a second field effect transistor having a gate insulating film made of a paraelectric film. The ferroelectric film and the paraelectric film are stacked together with a semiconductor film of a compound semiconductor interposed therebetween. A first gate electrode of the first field effect transistor is formed on a side of the ferroelectric film, and a second gate electrode of the second field effect transistor is formed on a side of the paraelectric film so as to face the first gate electrode. The semiconductor film forms a common channel layer of the first and second field effect transistors.

摘要： A nonvolatile storage device is provided with a nonvolatile main storage memory whose erase size is larger than a cluster size, and a buffer, i.e. a nonvolatile auxiliary storage memory. At the time of writing data in the memory, the data is temporarily stored in the buffer, then, a plurality of data in the buffer are collectively taken out to be stored in the main storage memory. Data in an original block is saved in a write block in the main storage memory. Thus, the data can be written in the main storage memory at a high speed.
