    • A swinging apparatus comprising an energy provider and a swinging mechanism disposed thereon. By means of adjusting the size and shape of the swinging mechanism and adjusting a distance between the swinging mechanism and the energy provider so as to control the ratio of the distance between the swinging mechanism and the energy provider to a characteristic value corresponding to the swing mechanism in a range between 4 and 0.25, the swinging frequency of the swinging mechanism may be adjusted automatically to comply with the variation of the motion frequency of the energy provider. The present invention further provides an energy harvester to work with the swinging apparatus and a coil to generate an induced current for power generation during the swing of the swing mechanism. In the present invention, the natural frequency of the swing mechanism may be adjusted according to the rotational velocity of the energy provider.

    • Disclosed herein is a technique for created an advanced MRAM array for constructing a memory integrated circuit chip. More specifically, the disclosed principles provide for an integrated circuit memory chip comprised of a combination of at least one of an array of high-speed magnetic memory cells, and at least one of an array of high-density magnetic memory cells. Accordingly, a memory chip constructed as disclosed herein provides the benefit of both high-speed and high-density memory cells on the same memory chip. As a result, applications benefiting from the use of (or perhaps even needing) high-speed memory cells are provided by the memory cells in the high-speed memory cell array.

    • A door closer includes a closer casing, a pivot unit, and a length-variable damping cylinder. The pivot unit includes a pivot axle, a cam member, and a cam follower member. The pivot axle has a drive end portion that extends into and that is retained rotatably in the closer casing, and a coupling end portion that extends out of the closer casing. The cam member is mounted co-rotatably on the drive end portion of the pivot axle. The cam follower member is disposed in the closer casing, and is acted upon by the cam member.     • A sink stopper is provided for a sink body having a base formed with a drain hole, and includes a strainer, an operating device and a closure member. The strainer is mounted on the base, and has a perforated strainer wall disposed in the drain hole. The operating device includes a stationary member mounted on the strainer wall, a movable member coupled movably to the stationary member, and a switching unit operable to retain releasably the movable member between first and second positions relative to the stationary member. The closure member is mounted on the movable member, is configured to form a clearance with the base to permit draining of water through the drain hole when the movable member is at the first position, and abuts sealingly against the base to seal the drain hole when the movable member is at the second position.
