    • A game for picking and identifying figurines during a timed turn for matching with corresponding identification on a card. The game housing establishes a raised playing surface having a number of openings communicating with the interior of the housing. Under the playing surface there is a spring motor driven cam with three identical lobes and having an outwardly extending lever for winding the motor for a single cycle of approximately 125 degrees of rotation. Above the cam there is a follower riser having two concentric coplanar annular plates that support the figurines for simultaneous, essentially vertical, raising and lowering of the figurines through the openings. Keeper rings on the follower riser cooperate with guide posts in the housing to maintain the essentially vertical movement.

    • A board game for two to four players in which each player is assigned an individual, flippable, playing piece that is used to chase an exchangable general playing piece which is able to earn points. The players move their pieces on a board having a number of paths of spaced indicia with reversible and collectable markers positioned atop the indicia. Initially one of the players is determined to be the one using the exchangable playing piece. The exchangable piece carries a spinner for determining its advancability. The other players, using another spinner, chase and try to catch the exchangable piece with the aggressive character of their assigned pieces facing upwardly. When an encounter between the general piece and one of the assigned pieces occurs, the outcome is determined by which side of the assigned piece faces upwardly. The character of the assigned pieces may be changed either by the spinner or by returning to the starting position.

    • A motor driven wheeled toy is provided with a driven axle that swivels in a vertical plane transverse to the direction of movement of the vehicle. More than one of such driven axles, each swiveling independent of the other, may also be provided. The vehicle motor drives an elongated shaft that is transverse to the axle. Respective gears are carried by and rotate with the shaft and the axle for transmitting power between the shaft and the axle. A connector having substantially right angle plates is carried by the shaft for rotation around the axis of the shaft. The shaft fits through a bearing aperture in the end plate of the connector. The axle extends through an opening in the transverse side plate of the connector which permits the axle to rotate with respect to the connector and to swivel together with the connector around the axis of the shaft. The wheels mounted on the ends of the axles for rotation with the axles are of a soft resilient material and have a large diameter to permit movement of the vehicle over rough surfaces and obstacles.

    • A player response game is provided including game apparatus that directs light beams of relatively short duration from a control housing to opposing player stations and detects light reflected back from the respective player stations. The game apparatus also includes a hand held, light reflecting paddle for the player at each station, these paddles having a light diffusing surface so that light is reflected back to the control housing when the paddle intercepts a light beam irrespective of the exact angle at which the paddle intercepts the beam. The sequencing and control of the game apparatus by electronic control circuitry including a microprocessor simulates a table tennis game wherein a light beam is directed to either the forehand or the backhand side of the opposite station if a player at one station successively intercepts a beam with his paddle during the time the beam is directed to his or her station.

    • A pattern location board game device is described in which each player attempts to locate a pattern of playing positions selected by an opponent. The device includes a game board having a plurality of playing positions bearing indicia representative of each one of a plurality of articles of clothing and each one of a plurality of colors. A plurality of identical playing positions are dispersed on the game board. Each player has a playing position selection box that displays the various articles of clothing represented on the game board while concealing a set of colored pegs received in apertures in the box associated with each represented article of clothing. The colored pegs are selectively positioned in the apertures associated with the articles of clothing to indicate the selected pattern of playing positions on the game board. A plurality of clear, transparent discs are used to mark certain playing positions on the game board which one player believes represent the selected positions of another player.

The playing field is positioned on a base and supported thereabove to allow the hand of the player to grasp a handle depending from the peddle member through and beneath the playing field. The playing field preferably includes a surrounding or peripheral rim on which a scoring device for recording the score of the player is mounted.
