    • A method for data exchange is provided, whereby a first code is generated by a transponder, which is transmitted to a base station, a first transmission information is generated by the base station by encoding a base station code with a first identification and the first random number code, the first transmission information is transmitted to the transponder and the base station code is extracted by the transponder, a second code is generated by the transponder, which is transmitted to the base station upon an associated request from the base station, whereby before a transmission to the base station the second code is encoded with the extracted base station code, a second encoded transmission information comprising a second identification is generated by the base station with use of the second code and transmitted to the transponder, and at least one memory region of the transponder is released for read and/or write access after the second identification was verified as valid. The invention relates further to a transponder and to a system for secure data exchange.

    • A heating device for heating a yarn, in particular in a texturing machine. The heating device comprises a thin-walled heating tube, which can be evenly heated on its circumference by a heating jacket. Fitted within the peripheral wall of the heating tube is an insert, which forms a yarn channel extending between a yarn inlet and a yarn outlet for guiding the yarn. The insert is formed by a special section rail that is open along one long side, and fitted with its opposite long side to the wall of the heating tube. As a result, the yarn channel is formed between the open long side of the special section rail and the wall of the heating tube, so that it is possible to supply heat to the yarn channel directly via the wall of the heating tube.

One or more data objects may be selected having an identifier from a first storage location. The ID may be stored in a second lock object. Systems and methods consistent with the invention may determine whether the ID is stored successfully, and upon a successful storage, may store the ID in a first lock object. The data object is stored at a second storage location and the data object is deleted from the first storage location. After the ID has been stored in a first lock object, the ID is then deleted from the second lock object.

One or more data objects may be selected from a first storage location. An identifier of a first type may be assigned to each of the selected data objects, and an identifier of a second type may be assigned to each of the selected data objects. The second type ID may be stored in a second lock object. Systems and methods consistent with the invention may determine whether the second type ID is stored successfully, and upon a successful storage, may store the first type ID in a first lock object. The data object is then stored at a second storage location, the first ID of which is contained in the first lock object. The data object may then be deleted from the first storage location, and the second type ID is deleted from the second lock object after a particular first type ID has been stored in the first lock object.

    • An integrated circuit is combined with a transponder to function either as a voltage or power supply for the transponder by extracting energy out of an electromagnetic field transmitted by a base station or as a detector in the transponder to act as a remote sensor. For this purpose the integrated circuit comprises diode rectifiers. Each of the diode rectifiers has a first and a second service terminal and a reference terminal. In order to reduce a parasitic impedance between the first service terminal and the reference terminal, the first service terminal of at least one rectifier diode is electrically connected to a reference potential such as ground. Parasitic diode characteristics are further reduced by surrounding the respective diode or diodes by an electrical conductor path also connected to the reference potential.
