    • In one aspect, the invention provides a water-based release coating composition comprising a mixture of: A. from 0.1 to about 5 wt % of a fluoro(meth)acrylate (co)polymer or a fluorochemical urethane compound containing at least one fluorinated group having the formula —(CF2)nCF3, wherein n is an integer from 1 to 3; B. from about 5 to about 99.9 wt % of a copolymer comprising the reaction product of a. from about 40 to about 70 wt % of an alkyl (meth)acrylate, wherein the alkyl group contains from 16 to 22 carbon atoms, b. from about 3 to about 20 wt % of (meth)acrylic acid, c. from about 20 to about 40 wt % acrylonitrile, and d. from 0 to about 15 wt % of vinyl monomer, other than acrylonitrile, wherein the sum of a. through d. equals 100%; and C. from 0 to about 94.9 wt % of an extender polymer, wherein the sum of A., B., and C. is 100% and wt % is based on the total amount of solids in the composition.

    • Methods and an apparatus for monitoring and conditioning strip material are disclosed. The disclosed methods and apparatus receive encoder signals and sensor data to monitor a condition of a strip material. The system obtains a plurality of sensor readings associated with the condition of the strip material, converts the readings into a dimensional profile, and outputs a visual display of the dimensional profile. If an undesired material condition is detected, a material conditioner is adjusted to achieve a desired material condition. Each time the strip material passes a sensor, data associated with the strip material is recorded. The dimensional profile is additionally shown to an operator to facilitate the input of commands by the operator used to urge the material toward a desired profile.

    • A drilling attachment for use in wet and dry drilling operations includes a housing having first and second fluid conduits, and a drive shaft mounted within the housing and having fluid transmitting first and second end portions in fluid communication with a respective first and second fluid conduit. In one embodiment, at any time one end of the drive shaft is coupled to a drive unit and the other end of the drive shaft is coupled to a core drill bit. In a dry drilling operation, dust is extracted from the core of the drill bit, is passed through the drive shaft and exits the housing via one of the fluid conduits. In a wet drilling operation, fluid such as water is passed through the other of the fluid conduits, through the drive shaft and into the core of the drill bit.

    • Disclosed herein is an invention that relates generally to a system and method for providing an on-line forum that permits a user to define a web page. The system enables a user who is unskilled in the development of web pages to be able to define his own web page, within the constraints of a general template. The system provides an on-line forum for permitting at least one user to define a web page. The web page comprises a plurality of web page elements. The system includes a computing complex accessible to the user via a network. The computing complex has at least one processing node and at least one storage medium, and the processing node is programmed to cooperate with the storage medium to provide: a database that stores data describing at least one of the web page elements; and, a first software module designed to produce a template representing the web page. The template consists of a plurality of template elements, each of which corresponds to one of the web page elements, and some of which are selectable. The first software module is also designed to permit redefinition of a web page element corresponding to a template element, in response to the template element being selected.
