摘要： This invention relates to an improved digital scale arrangement which employs apparatus for generating an electrical analog signal representing the weight on the scale mechanism. The analog signal is then converted to a digital representation of the weight on the scale under control of a microprocessor or microcomputer. The microcomputer then further processes the digital representation and causes it to be displayed. In accordance with the present invention, a fully automatically operating arrangement is provided for verifying the correct operation of the analog portion, the converting portion, and the digital portion of the arrangement. In addition, the arrangement is also employed to automatically correct the span of the scale under control of the results of the verification operation.

摘要： Improved electronic apparatus for weighing and computing the value from the weight and price per unit weight, for each of a plurality of successive weighing operations. An integrated circuit microcomputer is supplied with the article weight from a load cell and an analog-to-digital converter. The price per unit weight is supplied from a manual keyboard. The microcomputer includes as an arithmetic logic unit, data registers and sequence controller which is programmed to correct for scale errors, to check for no motion of the scale, to compensate the measured gross weight for any tare weight, to check various interlocks, and to compute an article value for each successive weighing. Null or zeroing and tare interlocks, checks, and safeguards are provided to reduce the possibility of fraud.

A method for aircraft flight crew and ground support personnel to monitor and identify in real-time, unanticipated loads experienced by the aircraft landing gear; to better manage the loading and unloading of passengers, baggage and cargo to and from an aircraft. Pressure sensors are attached to telescopic landing gear, which monitor the working pressure within the aircraft landing gear, and further identify and illuminate an onboard indicator to recognize unanticipated loads experienced by the nose landing gear during the passenger movement within the aircraft cabin while the aircraft is on the ground. Unbalanced fuel loading is recognized by asymmetrical pressures within the main landing gear struts, and identified during the aircraft fueling process.
