摘要： An object is to provide a daylighting sheet which efficiently performs daylighting and in which, when the daylighting sheet is applied to a window of a building or the like, it is possible to see an outdoor side.
The daylighting sheet includes a translucent base material layer; and a light deflection layer that is formed on the base material layer, and the light deflection layer includes: light transmission portions that are aligned along one surface of the base material layer so as to be able to transmit light, each of which including a groove at a portion being in a light entering side in a position where the light transmission portion is arranged in the opening portion of a building; and light deflection portions that are formed between the light transmission portions and filled with a material whose refractive index is lower than that of the light transmission portions.

摘要： There is provided an interlayer film for laminated glass with which an air bubble can be made difficult to be left behind between a lamination glass member and the interlayer film when laminated glass is obtained. The interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention contains a thermoplastic resin and has a portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is increased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the thickness is increased, has a portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is decreased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the thickness is increased, has a portion where the wedge angle is increased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the sectional shape in the thickness direction is a wedge-like shape, or has a portion where the wedge angle is decreased in a direction from one end to the other end in the region where the sectional shape in the thickness direction is a wedge-like shape, and the ten-point average roughness Rz of the surface at a center position of the portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is increased, the portion where the amount of increase in the thickness is decreased, the portion where the wedge angle is increased, or the portion where the wedge angle is decreased is 20 μm or more.

摘要： Methods of joining members, forming molded portions with members, securing inserts with members, and joined members, such as for a frame or a frame for a fenestration unit, formed thereby, are disclosed. One embodiment of the method includes placing a first member with a first cavity in a joining position, placing a second member proximate the first cavity of the first member in the joining position, injecting a resin into the first cavity, allowing the resin to solidify at least partially to join the first member and second member to form a joined member, and removing the joined member from the joining position. Optionally, the joined member can be formed in a fixture, can include molded portions formed by the resin, and/or can include inserts held in place by the resin. Further, members without cavities can form a cavity that can receive the resin.

The encapsulation structure includes: a guide piece; and an encapsulation component, wherein the guide piece is fixed to a side surface of a glass through the encapsulation component, wherein the guide piece includes a strip part, a bump and a positioning hole, wherein the strip part has a first surface, and a second surface opposite to the first surface and facing an interior of a vehicle body when the guide piece is mounted onto the vehicle body, the bump is located on and perpendicular to the first surface, the positioning hole is formed in the bump, an axis of the positioning hole is perpendicular to the side surface of the glass, and the positioning hole matches a positioning pin in an injection molding device in an injection molding process. A yield of encapsulation structures may be improved.

摘要： A system and method for fabricating the corner of a plastic window frame. The system includes a metal platen having opposed sides and that is for heating and melting adjacently disposed frame pieces by being inserted between the adjacently disposed frame pieces as the adjacently disposed frame pieces are brought into contact with respective opposed sides of the metal platen in order to melt adjacent surfaces of the adjacently disposed frame pieces. The adjacently disposed frame pieces, once heated and melted, are drawn together to form the corner of the vinyl window frame. A release layer is secured to the opposed sides of the metal platen and disposed between the respective adjacently disposed frame pieces and the opposed sides of the metal platen to prevent adherence between the metal platen and frame pieces. The release layer is comprised of a release film having a work area corresponding to an area where the adjacently disposed frame pieces are to be joined and a non-work area outside of the work area, and at least one adhesive strip is disposed within the non-work area for securing the release film to the metal platen while the work area is absent any adhesive between the release layer and the metal platen.
